Hear the trains?
Everything was great. It is located close to both the national park and downtown. However, it is also located next to a major north/south bound railroad track. There are five trains that run through starting at about 3am and blow their whistles all the way through town. I would ask to have a room on the opposite side from the freeway and let the fan run for white noise.

If you are there to visit the national park. Most web sites say to visit only the west side. I think the east side is well worth the time. The best times for both to visit are early morning and late afternoon. Better lighting for pictures.

Good experience
I enjoyed my stay there. I used ear plugs due to the freeway noise and the trains running close by. The breakfast was very good, staff were very friendly. I would stay there again but next time request a room away from the traffic.

It would be the perfect stay but the internet service service was so slow that it was not functional; went to front desk to ask for a solution and they say that it was normal when many guest were trying to connect: Not enough bandwidht for the whole hotel? Easy to solve, reason enough not to stay...

Happy in Tuscon
Looking at University of Arizona prior to Fall Semester. Ate at some great local restaurants. Location was perfect for visiting the University. Staff was friendly and helpful. Air conditioning was great in 100 degree plus heat. Complimentary waters in the lobby too. I'd stay at the same hotel again on a return visit.

Clean, Friendly and Convenient
The hotel is located right off the I-10, but you don't hear the freeway as much as you would think, the only thing you will hear is the trains driving through tucson. You can walk to downtown and 4th ave in about 20-30 min. Loved the breakfast every day and free water, coffee and cookies during the day. Staff is super friendly and helpful. My room had a fridge and microwave, which made my stay even more reasonably, since I didn't have to eat out every day. Clean room, nice spacious bathroom, very good mattress.

Tucson Country Inn
Very clean facility with tasty full breakfast and friendly staff. Room rate was very competitive. Location good for major attractions. Had some road noise that was easily drowned out by turning on room fan. Definitely recommend

Country in(n) a not so country place
The location isn't the greatest, it's on a road that runs along side I-10 with a bunch of other 2* hotels. On the other hand it is pretty close to downtown and UofA. However, the hotel itself is very nice, clean, comfortable, nice people working there. They also have a good breakfast in the morning and cookies at the front desk. I would recommend it.
