Howard Johnson Inn - Tucson Downtown

Receptionist was really nice, made me feel very comfortable only thing that needs to be fixed are the lights over the mirror above the bathroom sink second time staying here and they didnt work the first time either other wise perfect stay

oh...smell like mold when we entered the room... need pleasant smelling room... at first, there was no iron broad, ironing, hair blower, microwave, refrigator and clock. so i went to and ask for hair blower and iron but i had to pay extra charge for microwave and refrigator..i noticed that almost all outlets needed to be upgrade...in overall, we seems okay for overnight sleep but not for ten days. we are planning to come back to Tucson for reunion and see our family again.but not this hotel... maybe Grant hill hotel or better deals not this place. we had been there twice...not anymore.

The hotel was in bad condition, really really bad customer service, their rooms weren't clean, not fully stocked. They never did the cleaning in our room, I am not booking ever again in this hotel I am very disappointed of my experience, and the manager wasn't their so i can talk to him about this. I truly deserve a refund but it didn't happen.

This is a budget motel that we have stayed at 6 times in the last year. It is ok for the money, but this time has been the worst so far. We arrived about 9pm after a 5 hour drive. The floor looked like it was vaccumed very hit and miss. The bed frame was broken, when we asked to switch rooms they had none to switch too. They sent maintenance to put some blocks under for the night. Kinda worked. The next day it took almost 9 hours before they brought another frame to switch out. Ok for the money but we are looking for a nicer place even if it costs a few bucks more.

It was okay, close to downtown but rooms were not cleaned properly

My wife and i have stayed here several times. It is always clean and has a courteous staff. Nothing spectacular but a good, clean room for the price in tucson. Could use an in room coffee pot and a fan in the bathroom (just has an open vent), but nothing to complain about. This is our "go to" place to stay when visiting family in the area. Would definetly recommend it.

Drove up to the night window . The staff member was impatient when explaining the rates. She later got on a cell phone like I was interrupting something more important. Poor customer service.

Bed was beyond lumpy - feet higher than head. Requested handicapped room - no assist ahndles near commode. No handicapped parking anywhere NEAR room. No coffee at breakfast.

Beds are hard. Awoke the next morning to water falling from the room above into my bathroom. the staff gave me another room to shower and it was even worse... Not even door knobs. Its a little rough.
