Lovely stay.
The hotel was lovely and had a very clean and upscale feeling. Your keycard had to be used to gain entry from side doors and into the elevator on the main floor, which I felt added security. Breakfast was more elaborate than most and nicely presented. The only drawback was a small pool with 5 lounges, one in need of repair.

Ordinary
Slow service at reception, and the hotel looks kinda old. It may need a couple of reparations on the building.

Gotta love a family-owned, local hotel
A good value, very convenient to restaurants, downtown, etc. Nice touches - good products in the bath, apples at the front desk, easy parking, great breakfast included. Not-so-hot: Dated rooms. Given all that, glad it's locally owned and operated.

A few age spots but the old lady was grand. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant food was fabulous. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Dated Hotel in Need of an Update
The hotel has its original furniture from when it opened in the late 80's, both in the public areas and guest rooms. It's very tired and has a plethora of silk flowers and plants around the place. The beds were comfortable, but the original bathroom sink plastic valves had mold growing inside of them. The pool is very nice, as is the fitness center. The atrium breakfast is mediocre at best. This place is very tired and very much needs to be renovated.

Sightseeing tip:
Not Applicable
The Viscount Suite Hotel is not located anywhere near fine dining, shopping or entertainment. The nicest and most happening area in Tucson is around the Main Gate area and campus of The University of Arizona, which is not convenient to this hotel.

Great plade to stay well!
I'd had been in this hotel several times, and allways the breackfast was incluided in the price, but this time not. Other detail was that the rooms in the second floor are in bad conditions. My last stay in this hotel was 2 months ago in they gave me room at the 3er floor, that room was very nice. but this in the 2nd floor was ugly. Thanks!

Great Place, except for a few
The suites were really fantastic!! We went to visit friends in other hotels and they didn't begin to compare. They did come immediately and fixed the nails coming out of the carpet. They did come immediately and brought us coffee and washcloths!

Weekend Trip
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who cares about cleanliness. It was quite gross - hairs on bed, food stains on the walls, dirty bathroom. The room was outdated with old and battered furnishings (many stained).
