slightly mis-leading
The Orbitz site was well organized but a little bit mis-informed.. The rooms at Thunder Valley are ALL NON-Smoking, the bed situation is vague at best and you can only request the floor at the desk when you arrive. That's not what the Orbitz site represents while booking Online. Other than that, we slept okay.

Beautiful Hotel
I stayed at the hotel the evening of February 17, 2011 with a free offer as I live in the area and am a frequent visitor to the casino. My room was beautiful and very comfortable at over 500 sq. ft. and this was a "standard" deluxe room. Check-in was very easy and the only problem I experienced was with the elevator getting up to my room as the elevator requires a room key to operate. I can chalk this up to user error though. My room had a king-sized bed made up with lots of pillows and a duvet cover. The room had a sitting area with a couch that could be made into a full-sized bed. The bathroom has a very deep soaking tub and a rainfall spa shower which I took advantage of. Double sinks along with a separate area that has a lower vanity, light up makeup mirror and chair. Rooms also have a Keurig coffee machine, two spa robes and an in-room safe. I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely be returning! I've already booked a room for next week and I live only about five minutes away!

customer service- outstanding-no. 1
We relaxed in our rooms, so many games of chance, sports bar,excellent buffet, cafes, have a wonderful pool; outside when weather permits. rooms are so great,service to them is no. 1 priority. I think wonderful getaway for adults.

Fantastic Hotel
Hotel was beautiful. Room was 5 Star in my estimation (I've stayed at many so can compare). Staff were all friendly, helpful and seemed to love their jobs.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort
Was denied room at 6:30PM check in due to hotel being "overbooked" and given letter to present to Spring Hill Suites, nearby, as alternate lodging while front desk was checking-in other guests next to me. They acknowledged my pre-paid, confirmed [...] reservation and only after I refused to accept their treatment per a "guest must be walked" instruction on their reservation screen, they capitulated and gave me what appeared to be an upgraded room. What was the point of all of that?
