4 star is just right

The Intercontinental Los Angeles Century City is a four star experience at its best. The staff is courteous and efficient. The room was comfortable. The location is ideal, as it is close to major streets and freeways that go in all L.A. directions.

Shopping tip: Not Applicable

Don't waist your time shopping in major cities. Most merchandise is marketed internationally, and so offerings are very similar, no matter where you are. Send your time in finding out what makes your destination unique.

Great stay and good location

I had a blast staying there with my friend. They have the most amazing staff and transportation service. They helped us book our tours and tickets. They have good burgers in their dine in menu. The only this was the bed wasn't comfy for me or my friend. But the great hospitality and service did it for us. That was my first time in LA and I loved my stay there 100%..

Not as good as first stay

Returned to intercontinental after recent great stay, however disappointed from day 1 on this stay. unplugged fridge/minibar, missing toiletries, no requested morning newspapers. Each are small but collectively add to huge letdown. I switched to this hotel from 10 years at Century City Hyatt but what a letdown.

Good Century City Location - Expensive extras

Pros: Easy walking distance to Century City towers and Westfield mall & restaurants. Excellent staff help and clean comfortable room & bed. Fair number of foreign language channels on TV (Arabic & Japanese) Cons: Expensive breakfast ($25-30) if not included (mine was) Expensive internet (~$13/day and can be slow at times) if not included. TV had no standard HBO/Showtime/etc and digital signal was erratic on some channels.

Ordinary and Overpriced

I booked at the last minute because the Century Plaza just up the street was sold out. My room had all the charm of a Holiday Inn at two to three times the price.
