With its upscale mid-century modern industrial chic vibe, The Line Hotel in Los Angeles captures the round-the-clock energy of the surrounding Koreatown neighborhood. Alluring offerings include cuisine courtesy of street food legend Roy Choi, a flora-fringed outdoor pool, an eclectic lifestyle boutique and use of a fleet of elegant retro Linus bicycles. Each sun-washed guestroom is a lounge-like urban cocoon with stitched-quilt ottomans, bleached ash furnishings and custom platform beds set to take full advantage of the palm-tree dotted city. After a day of colorful cosmopolitan adventures, don a soft cotton robe to unwind in bathrooms that conjure the sumptuous style of Korean day spas with pale woods, white tile and gold fixtures.

Trip to Convention

I was in LA for a convention, so I thought I'd stay somewhere I can easily access the downtown area. The room was adequate in size and clean. I had a very strange experience, however. Around midnight I heard a large amount of water falling from the ceiling near the door. I brought it to the attention of the staff, but there wasn't much they could do for me. Other than that I had a good experience. I even used the gym each day.

Cool location and style

I thought the location was awesome, right in K-town, and walking distance to food :) The style and decor and furniture was pretty cool and I liked the use of space in the rooms. The open window was awesome. AND I got to keep my little dog with me in the room. The only couple cons I thought were that I could hear all the traffic below, and on Saturday night the downstairs area turned into some sort of club, which was loud and crowded and made it a hassle trying to get back in the entrance, I had to stand in a line...

Modern, clean and good wifi & TV

It was our first stay in this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. It's very modern and clean, like the ambience of the hotel, the room and it's centrally located. The only thing we didn't like is the overnight parking fee, it's almost $40 w/tax. I think that's too steep.

Great for Business

Great Hotel. Very Hip and in the heart of Ktown and nightlife. Pot the bar is a fun hangout place and if yu get hungry you can walk to any of the great eateries nearby. one negative- they get you on parking $20-30/night that can add up

Stylish LINE

This was my first stay in LA in a few years, and first time staying in this part of town. The LINE was a great find, with much more than the requisite minimalist decor and young staff. The F&B concepts and quality are original and well-executed. Nightlife is active at The LINE, with a lively scene at Pot Lobby Bar and retro club, Break Room 86. If you need to sleep early, however, request a rear-facing room or hope the music will lull you to sleep. Finding the Kogi food truck in the neighborhood was a bonus!
