Stylish LINE

This was my first stay in LA in a few years, and first time staying in this part of town. The LINE was a great find, with much more than the requisite minimalist decor and young staff. The F&B concepts and quality are original and well-executed. Nightlife is active at The LINE, with a lively scene at Pot Lobby Bar and retro club, Break Room 86. If you need to sleep early, however, request a rear-facing room or hope the music will lull you to sleep. Finding the Kogi food truck in the neighborhood was a bonus!

Good business trip

I love the restaurants and all of the amenities. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming. I would book and stay here again in a heartbeat. The added bonus was the café in the lobby that served amazing black sesame mochi cakes!

Restaurant and lobby are cool - big social scene Location is ok - a little off beat. Room and hotel design and decor is very cutting edge. Not your average hotel!

Slightly Disappointed

I booked the room late and didnt arrive until around 9:00pm, so was already expecting to not have great service checking in. The woman at the front desk took my ID and credit card, then gave it to someone in a room, didnt tell me anything, and didnt say a word to me for around 10 minutes. After asking multiple times what was going on, she told me they were looking for my reservation, then completely ignored me again. But like I said, I was expecting it, but a littled irritated that i was the only person there and they werent helping anyone else. The room was mediocre with what looked like cheap ikea furnature. I went to oull out a drawer and it litterally just fell off. Checking out waiting for valet was a disaster. Waited over 30 minutes, then finally asked the manager to just give me the keys so I could get it myself. The valet guy walked me 3 floors below the hotel and took off. I was almost hit by multiple cars being driven down, and once i got above ground it was a parking lot in valet, so had to navigate around to finally get out of there. The valet manager said he would remove the valet charge from my bil, which never happenned. I understand the location and how busy it is there, which is why i was expecting it, but plain and simple, I will never stay at this place again.

Nice stay

Pros -The gym is small but nice. -Staff was friendly. -Located next to the subway and bus stations. -Breakfast options in the lobby were good. -Stylish rooms. -Nice view (We were on the Hollywood sign side). -Good selection of TV channels Cons -They were very little bugs in the first rooms we stayed. They immediately changed our room. No problems with that room. We liked the hotel and LA, hence, we decided stay an extra day. They moved us to a different room (same side). There were also no problems with that one. We stayed in 3 different rooms and had a small issue with only one. -Parking was expensive Additional comments: The lobby changes into a club during some nights. It didn't caused any delays or problems while entering the hotel. We didn't stay on the lower levels so I can't comment on the noise level from the music. There were some noise very early in the morning. I am guessing that some people partying were staying in our floor. We slept fine.

Beautiful interior, great lounge, perfect location

As soon as I walked in to the lobby, I loved how the lobby is spacious with a cafe and a outdoor seating areas. I also was amazed how beautiful the room was decorated and how unique the interior was and the view of the city. The room is not big but they arranged the furniture very nice that i did not have any problem, the bed was comfortable. I think it would have been nice if there was complimentary water of coffee we could enjoy while staying. However, overall great say and willing to stay again every time I visit LA.

Definitely gonna stay again

Great location for traveling, shopping and dining in LA. I love how they did the decoration, the room was very clean and comfortable. Staffs here were friendly. They have this nice lounge at lobby, and great music/event every weekend, nice place for hanging out.

Nice and Cozy

Walls had a horrible smell, but the decoration itself was nice and cozy. The location was amazing. Everything was around the area.
