Very Friendly Staff. Very convenient location to LAX. A Great Value Overall.

We stayed on the way to and from our vacation destination. We requested a non-smoking, king room because of a breathing condition, got to the airport late, and we were picked up within minutes of calling for the free shuttle. We were able to get into a non-smoking room (sometimes they tell you they will and won't, but that didn't happen here), and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was large, comfortable and clean. It's an older hotel with two floors. The only drawback was that it had no elevators, which could possibly be a problem for someone who has limitations, so be sure to request in advance, and you should have no problem with accommodations. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms, quiet both times. Denny's is attached, so a late-night meal is no problem, even if it's just Denny's. Who needs fancy when you're just passing through, right? If ever at LAX and in need of accommodations, we'd definitely stay again. We've stayed at far more expensive hotels and been very disappointed with dirty rooms and poor service. We feel this was a great value for the money and highly recommend the Travelodge.

Very interesting place with helpful and informative staff, all amenities very useful, espetially the pool with warm water, the bym basic but just enough. Rooms clean and well designed. Come and enjoy!

Noisy, but great location. The staff was wonderful...

Convenience, convenience, convenience! 2 blocks from the car return and airport, but very little airport noise givenheater fan in room. We slept well in a clean, comfortable bed with our car safely parked just outside our door for easy last minute packing. The office had 2 computers set up to print boarding passes for no charge. Security locked parking was tricky to figure out at first. But, the oasis in the courtyard inside - beautiful pool, and greenery everywhere - even in the rooms! Older hotel but clean and comfortable and reasonable (and convenient) Nice staff with a litttle snack shop and restaurant right next door, plus frig in the room and good working TV. Don't expect a Hilton but it is a surprising little gem.

Overall this motel was better than I expected. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location was close enough to the airport. My two complaints were the uncomfortable beds, especially the rock hard pillows, and the messed up wake-up call. I set the calll for 6 a.m. and got a call at 5:20 saying it was requested wake-up call and the time was 7 a.m. I got another call at 6 saying it was my requested wake-up call.

This was a pretty cool hotel. It was so vintage, it was like we were morphed back into the 1960's. They have a shuttle that leaves every thirty mins for the airport, and the airport is super close. I liked imagining the pool parties that took place at this hotel in the 1960's haha!
