BEST WESTERN PLUS De Anza Inn

This hotel was inexpensive, easy to find and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is centrally located in Monterey tourist area. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee service. The hotel has been recently redecorated and it was a welcome surprise at a remarkably low price.

We stayed at the Deanza for 2 nights, just expecting a regular, nothing special hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was a big corner room, nice big windows, desk, sofa bed, tv, fridge, microwave. Huge bathroom. The continentel breakfast was a nice plus, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, even eggs and sausage to make egg muffins. Very nice and comfortable for 2 people. We requested a late check-out the morning we were supposed to leave due to the time change and they didn't have a problem with it even at last minute.I would definitely recommend the Deanza.

Helpful staff. Centrally located. Comfy room. Continental breakfast (bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, toast etc) was a nice addition that saved us a few pennies! Next time we are in the area we will certainly stay here!

A great location for all points around the Monterey Area. The breakfast was the usual Cereal, Rolls Coffee & Juice. We ate in our room a couple of times due to limited seating in the breakfast area. The room was very quiet except when the room above flushed the toilet. The room was our home for a week and was overall very nice.

We had a great stay at the Deanza. It was clean and comfortable. Only cons: no premium channels, and our room was right off the lobby, we were wakened by the screams of an unhappy child more than once. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful withall of our questions.

I stayed at the Best Western De Anza in Monterey for Thanksgiving - Thursday and Friday nights. My room was clean, nicely furnished, and spacious. (Granite countertops, flat screen TV, comfortable bed, good heating system in room, and plenty of hot water!) The hotel staff were all very helpful and polite. Nice continental style breakfast (cereal, juice, muffins/bagels/toast, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, fresh fruit). The location is close enough to the freeway for easy access to shopping, etc. Very good value for the money. I would stay there again.

Positive = Near Freeway and 5-10 minutes to Wharf Negative = Checking into hotel, clerk did not provide clear info nor did he satisfy my concern regarding my reservation cost and billing.

We came into town for a wedding nearby. The place has enough safe and free parking. There was a lot going on over the weekend and the hotel was completely full. Noise from the neighboring room (a family speaking in normal "family" volumes) was clear through the door that connected the two rooms. The folks upstairs could be heard walking. we live in a noisy downtown area, so it wasn't worth getting upset about. The toilets are a variety of low-flush that utilize a pressure tank that made me think twice about flushing in the middle of the night. Spacious room with a couch and desk. Clean. Free breakfast, a computer easily available for quick Googling of maps etc... friendly service from everyone we came across. Right by the main road, but not loud. Denny's sign was a few yards from our window (rm 217) so we closed the drapes. Nice service, budget accommodations.
