The room was clean, adequate in size and amenities. Location is excellent, and the staff could not have been more professional, friendly or helpful. Try the attached restaurant - the food is fantastic and they offer room service!

The hotel and my room were clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The desk could have been more accommodating by providing more space and more accessible power supply. The breakfast was tasty, situated next to a pool with a view of the harbor.

Stopped over between Amtrak and flight home. Was great to be able to print boarding pass in lobby. Coffee machine was out of water--but nice to have hot drinks. Room was very nice, balcony view of river and ships was great.

This hotel was very accommodating . The staff was great and courteous. Breakfast was good and in spite of the painting and reconstruction going on I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to my friends. The shuttle was always available for trips to the bart and this was an added plus.

You can see the stadium from the inn.Easy to get to from the freeway.Several food places in walking distance for the inn.Grounds has a fence around it.Close to gas stations.Has a free shuttle to and from the airport.Free breakfast is ok would be better if had some meat (bacon or sasauge).There was boiled eggs,waffles,toast,bagels,yogurt,ceral,and oatmeal.3 different kinds of jucies.Great breakfast for kids and women men generaly want some meat.

Location is a bit intimidating at night since it is located withing nothing but auto shops and recycling areas. However, it is within walking distance to O.co Colisuem which is why I was there. The room was small, the TV had no remote control, there was no phone to call the lobby, the sink's cold water did not work and there was a patch sewn into the covers on the bed which looked like it was hiding something. This was a last minute booking close to the coliseum since every hotel around was full for New Year's followed by the last Raider home game the next day. I don't think I'd be staying here again.

Modest accommodations at a very cheap price. At this price one doesn't expect the Ritz, so as long as expectations are low in only for very basic accommodations then you will get what you pay for. THERE'S NO PHONE IN ROOM FOR A WAKEUP CALL SO BRING AN ALARM OR CELL PHONE. Despite this, a good value for the price if you are looking for no frills.

I booked this hotel at the last minute for a holiday weekend stay. The hotel was in a great location (downtown Oakland and across the street from a BART station). I also found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
The room itself was clean and modern.
I found it to be good value for the price I paid (~130/night).

My stay was only an overnight stay but I was suprised that when I arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning I was able to get into a room right away. My room was nice and comfy and clean. The breakfast meal I had was ok but it seems the temperature was a little too cool for me in the restaurant. I asked the waiter to heat up my coffe cup before He brought the coffee and he did.
Overall what little contact I had with the hotel and personel was favorable.

Apples, bananas, oranges and coffee avialable 24/7. A nice selection for breakfast. Pool and jacuzzi clean and operational. Right on the water looking out at a harbor of boats. The staff was available, helpfull and personable. Good size room. Way better than we expected.

Excellent value in Oakland waterfront, the water view is the way to go as the other side faces the freeway. The property was much nicer for the price than what we could find in San Francisco. Bonus was the two bedroom two bath suite, excellent set up for two couples. I would have no heistation to return to this property.

Stayed in Oakland to enjoy the weekend with the family. Accommodations were great. Staff was very helpful and willing to accommodate. Breakfast was outstanding and more than made up for the $20.00 overnight parking fee. Rooms were surprisingly quit for being downtown. My sleep was never interrupted all night. Had a minor glitch with the free breakfast for my family. They fixed it right away with a smile. I would stay there again.

Staff pointed me in the right direction for good restaurants and offered 'spot on' directions to locations I was going. To top it off they extended my checkout time (at no cost) to accommodate a late business meeting. Windows in the room actually opened to let in a fresh breeze and sounds of the city.

It was close to all venues for our family oriented trip and has easy access to the freeways. This is the second time we've used this hotel and will likely use it again. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable. We had a problem with plumbing but notified the desk and it was promptly seen to and the carpet in our room was dingy. The room itself was well kept. The hotel has features that we did not explore, ie., pool & fitness center but we don't spend a lot of time in our hotel room when we travel. The covered, well lighted parking is a plus as well as a security door from the garage into the hotel proper.

Conveniently located. Good value for price. Quiet, clean rooms. Staff was very polite and personable. Basic necessities though -- no pool, no workout facilitiy, no airport shuttle, and the restaurant/lounge had very limited hours. Limited cable channels. Free wireless Internet. Grocery store right next door! Would definitely stay again.

I was getting away for the night to visit with friends in Oakland.The rooms are nice but could have been clean better in the bathroom, there was still hair in bath tub and on the floor looked like some was cutting their hair before my safe there. I really like the location found a lot of places to walk and really enjoyed my getaway visiting friends

I attended a celebration of life for a first cousin. The place was near the hotel and quite convenient. Also, the hotel is near many restaurants and not too far from a market.

I picked this hotel because the party I was attending was being held at this location. There were other close locations within walking distance but Hilton reputation was a deciding factor in paying the extra to stay here. I wasn't disappointed with the accommodations. The party goers were still roaming the halls by 2:30 am but the bedside in room radio and the uber comfortable bed soon had me in slumberland without any incident. By the way I'm 6 month pregnant so this was very important.

i killed 5 cockroaches. the ice machine requires coins. internet works when it wants and the people in the office behind the bullet-proof glass can care less about it. oh and the price on the side of the building is much less than the price on orb*tz. dont bring your kids im pretty sure the lady next door to me was a working girl.

was a bit away from the fwy but wasn't too far, was super close to Bay Bridge so didn't take long to get into the City again. the rooms where way too small but was a comfortable bed. in a quiet neighborhood.

I was quite surprised by how nice this hotel was and that the staff was helpful when needed. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The only issue that I had was the Internet service. I was only able to connect online the 1st night I was there. Other than that, overall it was cool and I would stay there again.

If you need a hotel only for a sleep this is perfect, its located just 20 min from San Fco. and 5 minutes form OAK airport, It have breakfast included not so good but its free, and it has free WI-FI.

The hotel was great. It was close to all attractions. we went out to Oakland for the Raider Colt game and the stadium was right down the street. We drove over to San Francisco which is right over the bridge like 20 minutes away. The people at the hotel were great they had everything we needed. I will e back next time.

The poeople working for this hotel couldn't have been better. The only real complaint I have is the fact that their vending machines didn't work when we were there, and as we got in late (too late to order even pizza locally) we were starving!!! Wish they were in walking distance of a 7-11 or something. Other than that, I'd stay there again, just stop at a 7-11 to be prepared.

I needed to catch an early flight, and this BW was perfectly located. Their shuttle was nice enough to pick me up at the car rental return center. The only down side to my stay was that there are no food places around. I ordered some Chinese to the room that was pretty good.
I would stay here again. Great price!

The Holiday Inn has come a very long was from the Holiday Inn we know from the 90's! The rooms are clean and modern looking and the beds were very comfortable. There is a free wireless, which is always a great perk. This hotel is located right by the airport, about 10 minutes from Downtown Oakland, which works for me. Also the price can't be beat for the value.

This is definitely not somewhere I would choose to stay if it weren't the cheapest option close to the airport with a free airport shuttle. Pretty bare bones, and the mattress was pretty spongy.
