Red Lion Oak Airport
I didn't leave the hotel for 2 days since i was recovering from a difficult move preperation. the hotel was decent but the rally at the Harley facility, across the street, on Fri and Sat was more than annoying. the hotel has a good restaurant and was priced reasonably. there isn't anything within walking distance from the hotel which was a disappointment. overall it was good experience.

Wonderful place to stay - great courtesy
We received the most courteous front desk help I have ever had!!! The shuttle staff were great also. Also had room service a couple of times, that was great too. Nothing went wrong, everything was wonderful, fresh linens and coffee and empty garbage cans daily!!! My partner and I went into San Francisco and to outskirts Monday; drove thru Oakland and Berkeley and up to San Rafael Tuesday; and Wednesday took a Greyline city tour and saw the Wax Museum. We saw a lot and have lots of pictures, and really enjoyed ourselves!! Thanks so much for complementing our vacation with your courtesy and service. Gail F DuBos and Roger Field

A great afternoon can be spent at the Coliseum in Oakland watching the Athletics baseball game play!! The bleacher seats are only $13.00 and include all the game activity and sun you would need!!! Available by bus, Bart, car, long walk.

We needed a room near the airport as our flight was early in the morning. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was pretty clean and well appointed. We basically slept and dashed but it was super convenient to the airport and they offer free shuttle service. The name changed to The Red Lion Hotel (from the Park Plaza) which threw us off for just a minute...

Good Service
We went to Oakland to watch the Raiders vs. Colts. And it was during Christmas. Everything was close. So we were kinda stuck in the hotel with and no open restaurants. Good thing, the hotels restaurant was open and room service was available too. The only bad side is, there was no Indoor pool, or sauna. But the receptionist, gave us a nice room with the view.

Unbeatable for the price
I was in town only for one day and passing through. I arrived early and was unable to check in early without acquiring additional fees, but yet we had to wait and extended time to check in, since there are only 2 Front Desk Receptionist. other that that I have been at this location on other trainings and have enjoyed it every time. i give it thumbs up.

The Marina in San Leandro, only about 10 min drive. It's relaxing and a great place to take a stroll, plus you can also enjoy watching the plains that arrive and leave. just a nice place to spend some time and watch a wonderful sun set if you have the time.

Bad breakfast, hard time checking in and turned down late checkout request, even though the hotel was obviously not sold out. Never again.
