Days Inn - Riverside - Tyler Mall

Everything was fine except that I was expecting free WiFi. They don't have WiFi but had free wired internet and offered to loan a cable. My laptop can't use the cable. There was a weak unsecured signal close enough to check email.

Everything was really good, staff was nice, rooms are well cleaned(NO BUGS!). I enjoyed my stay and if I ever come down here again, I will book again.

We spent 5 days here while visiting family in Riverside. The hotel was clean, convenient, and financially right. It is close to restaurants, shopping, and the Tyler Mall (Nordstroms, Macys, JCP, and much more. The place does not look like much from outside and lobby is small. Breakfast is included and consists of cereal, fruit, bagels etc. Hotel is definitely no frills but otherwise it was a great stay and we will use it again. Bathroom is a little smaller than most but is adequate. There was a microwave and small refrigerator in the room which was a nice plus. If you are looking for economy, stay here. If you are looking for fancy, very large rooms, hotel restaurant and room service, you will not be happy. We highly recommend this place to stay.

My stay as usual was great, this time really made a difference, my father was in the hospital so I stayed at the Marriot on Market st in Riverside and it was aweful compared to the days inn, more money, very few ammenities and the neighborhood was aweful, I left a day early, I will stay at the days inn from now on, they provide a nice room with microwave and fridge and all the tv chanels I enjoy, the marriot did not.

From the minute I walked into the lobby it was down hill from there. The hotel manager was rude, to say the least. When I walked in there was no one there. He sauntered in after 2-3 minutes. He was extremely unfriendly. This part is just as much Orbitz fault as his - I spent the time to fill out my driver liscense and address, etc. He said he isn't have that I needed to fill verything out again saying, "Thats an Orbitz problem, not me." When I left the rental car plate number blank he said, "Well go outside and get that." When I went upstairs to my room (322) I walked in to a horrible smell, dirty walls, and a broken window. The window lock was completely broken and would not shut at all. Last of all, housekeeping left my blinds open, allowing everyone who walked by my room a plain view of everything I had (computer, iPad, clothes). Days Inn needs to care more about their brand. Shame on the district manager for caring so little.

Asked for non smoking room, was given a room that smelled like a dirty ashtray. Was told that problem was that room was booked through a third party, not their fault. However there were few occupants at the hotel so this reason didn't fly.

everything was generally fine.

The hotel looks nice but the floors of the second and third floors were bouncy. I get carsick easy and felt queasy the whole time. Also there is no wireless internet provided by the hotel. They said the city provided one for free but I could not connect to it with my two iPhones or PC-laptops. The hotel did provide an internet cable though for free.
