Okay experience for the price. My room was on the ground floor with the door to the parking lot. Thin walls so lots of outdoor noise. Free wi-fi and thick towels was a plus. Booked during the weekend and there must have been on-site events so when I came home after dark, several entrances were blocked off so I had to drive around to find a clear entrance and then drive to my room. Maybe more lights and signage would be helpful since it is a large complex.

The staff was very helpful, but my biggest complaint is the improper advertising. The pictures on the internet DO NOT reflect the current conditions at this hotel. There was no working jacuzzi, the restaurant was not open for bkfst or lunch, the rooms had not been upgraded, the ice machine did not work, the key pad would not accept our key card, the fitness room was only 10X10 and had 3 machines. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND I WANT A REFUND.
I would never have booked a room if the pictures were a true reflection of the property. I will not recommend this hotel.

This is the second time I've stayed at Arden Acres and I just love it. Location is close to everything and everyone I need to get to and see, staff is friendly and helpful, the little cottages are wonderful. I'll be staying at Arden Acres again in September.

friendly staff, left my car in the park and fly program. You can leave it up to 14 days. I got a great price. and I was still further ahead! We walked (during the day) through a beautiful park along the river to old town Sacramento (1.7 miles) about 30 minutes. Then shopped and ate at the rio cafe had the dipping bread, waitress said it is worth it! she was right! Guyre, parmesean, swiss, garlic, cooked inside of it! balsamic, olive oil for dipping, It was so good I took a raw one to cook at my sisters Came out just as good! called hotel for ride back, got flight at 4:30 AM, picked car up four days later, all went great!

The breakfeast was very nice. its was way better then an ordinary continental breakfeast, they had all kinds of stuff. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was the toilet was broke when we arrived in our room but the staff came to our room and fixed it right away (with in 10 minutes). It was in a good location also, right by the freeway and close to old sacramento. I would most difinitly recommend this hotel to my friends if they were going to this area. made our stay very nice.

Relatively new property, spacious rooms with a very nice layout to the one bedroom studio suite. Quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff was efficient. Hot breakfast buffet standard menu for HI Express. Several chain casual or fast food restaurants adjacent to property.

This was out first trip to California and I will with no doubt stay there again. The staff was very good with public relations and service. There breakfast bar was the best i have ever had. (WAY TO GO CINDY) Cindy was the provider, stocker for the breakFAST bar. Well maintained and stocked, the rooms were well maintain, Free newspaper at you door when you get up. We arrived one night late and the desk clerk MOVED HIS CAR SO WE COULD PARK BY THE ENTRY DOOR!!. Like I said, I would recommend Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SACRAMENTO AIRPORT NATOMAS.. the experiance was ok I was dissapointed there was no hair dryer, other than that it was a good stay. decent beds there was a fridge in our room so that helped, no smell it was good over all, tho my sister who went with me says that the internet should be free

I didn't have the warmest welcome, arriving after 1 a.m., but really this place is just fine for a night or two if you're on a tight budget. I appreciated that they had fridge and microwave in the room (although person on phone told me they didn't). Internet isn't free, but it's just $4 and at least the signal is nice and strong. Location VERY convenient to California State University Sacramento, and to the highway. I recommend this place for travelers who aren't too picky.

The location was PERFECT. Didn't even take our car - took AMTRAK and just walked over to the Vagabond.
Old Sacramento was the Main reason for our Visit and it was just outside our front door.
The morning Breakfast Buffet was just Perfect. Considering the cost of eating out, this feature alone, was worth the price of the room.
Everything you could ask for - Homemade Waffles, Fresh Fruit, Muffins, Milk, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Toast, Coffee, Cereal, Pastries - you name it.
And, you could eat inside, or take your tray outside by the beautiful Pool. What a fun Vacation we had.

The location of Vagabond is fantastic! Very easy on and off the I5, and one block away from Old Town and K Street Mall was a huge plus. The room was adequate - no frills, not super clean but comfy bed. The free breakfast was really nice! The whole place smelled like fresh buttermilk waffles, which were very tasty. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasant stay. It was clean and comfortable. Good hospitality. They offered water in the lobby all day with lemon slices and coffee in the morning. There is a comfortable sitting area with tv and free computers with internet.

The Residence Inn Sacremento Cal Expo was nicely located in a residential area and restaurants. An upstairs unit that was very quiet from traffic and other quests. The room was a large suit with a full kitchen, table, couch as well as the bed. Nicely decorated and was very clean. The down side was the smell when you first walked in like cigrettes or dirty carpet and the closet door was open and off the track. Since my visit was so short and arrived late and left early, I delt with the smell and didn't use the closet. Their breakfast had a nice selection and everything was hot and delecious. The lobby area where the breakfast was served had a staff member replenish the food and was very clean.

While I feel a 4 star review should indicate a pretty great hotel, please keep in mind the price point for this hotel. Given the cost of the rooms, I'd say it deserves 4 stars. Nothing really special about it but it was clean, pleasant, and friendly staff. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a inexpensive hotel that doesn't care about perks or bells and whistles.

A pleasant little place, out of the way; away from all the traffic and noise, but easy to get to and just minutes away from downtown.

The Hotel room was very nice and beds were comfortable. Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful.
We also enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning and
being able to get coffee and tea during the day.

All went well the first two days. On the third night however, several people in 2 or 3 rooms across the hall were running up and down the hall, yelling and banging doors until nearly 1am. Finally hotel security got them quiet. Then they were back at the noise at 7am. So much for a nice quiet getaway.

Enjoyed the room and the restaurant. it was so quiet and the beds were so comfortable.
I was surprised that it was a smoking room but it was not too strong an odor but that would be my only disappointment.

Sacramento is an overnight visit & we keep going back to Holiday Inn. Location is perfect: Old
town & the mall are walking distance so no car needed. Staff is very nice & the only complaint is length of time to register. Always one person on the desk & it seems to take her forever to get us registered. The lounge is attractive & convenient but when we were there at 7:30 PM not a clean table in sight & the bartender was way too busy to wait on us at the bar. So we left. But those are really the only complaints.

We were up from San Diego for a weekend of soccer with the UCSD Women’s soccer team. The area was convenient and easily accessible. The rooms were clean and nice. There is a Starbucks in the hotel. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. It also would have been nice if the hotel had a Jacuzzi. Otherwise the staff was outstanding and the hotel was clean.

Stayed for two nights at the Clarion Mansion Inn. Location was great! Close to all the attractions in downtown Sacramento such as Old Sacramento, the state capitol and the governor's mansion. Easy access to the freeway.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the rooms were generally well kept. The hotel does seem quite old and may not appear as nice because of that. But great as a place to sleep while traveling in Sacramento, and value can't be beat.

This is my second stay at this hotel in a year. The rooms are getting tired...paint needs freshening. Tiny toilet seats and showers not good if you anything above average in size. The continental breakfast was only fair.

I was in Sacramento with a co-worker for a conference and we stayed at the Residence Inn. We found the facility to be top notch! The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this Inn to anyone and would return if I am ever in that area again for business or pleasure.

We spend a lot of weekends away from home and this was by far the best value for the money. The room was large, clean, and very quiet. I have paid triple the money per night and haven't slept because you can hear the people in the room next door or walking down the hall. My husband has a bad back and the bed was extremely comfortable and he had a good nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all of my friends. In fact, our friends recommended it to us. It is close to the river and old town.

I checked in and was greeted at the desk she already had my keys and room ready. Room was nice up dated big king size bed with lots of pillows. Nice and quiet I enjoyed the stay and will stay again.

Quick access from I-5 for through travelers. Friendly service, lovely room, all the items we wanted for breakfast. The remodel is not quite complete: new carpets for the hallways are coming. Excellent price for the quality.

I watched CNN on the nice 32 inches LG screen. Perfect size for a hotel room. Not a giant screen, not a small screen. Just the right size. I slept. I only stayed 2 quick days. I didn't know how to turn the fan on in the bathroom. There were no switches for it. Just the light switch. The free wifi worked well on the laptop but not on my cell phone. I kept losing the signal on the cell phone whereas on the laptop it was stable. Go figure. And no it was not a problem on my cell phone, because I connect to other wifi networks easily on a daily basis from the same cell phone.

This is a great hotel if you're looking for something close(only about 10 minute drive) to the Sacramento Airport! The location is a little off the beaten path (I came in on I-5), but once I found it, it was nice and quiet! The room was impeccably clean! The staff was great; friendly and helpful. There's a great restaurant just across the parking lot, as well as two fastfood eateries and even a truckstop nearby. I will definitely stay here again.

This was my first trip "on my own" since becoming disabled. The room was nicely equipt to handle my limitations. My only complaint was that I could not get the hand held shower head disconnected from the pole. Of course I kept forgetting to ask staff for assistance. Overall, It was a wonderful place to stay.

I go to Sacramento often, and I have now found the hotel for me from now on. A clean, comfortable business hotel with a great staff, decent workout room/pool, and gathering place and bar. The breakfast was a little better than "typical."
