Mini Victorian House was built in the early 1900's and was lovingly restored in 2005. The Italian Bed and Breakfast has 4 beautifully decorated guests rooms, all with private baths. They serve a full breakfast each morning and the chef prepares afternoon desserts of Italian Bread Pudding and Expresso Brownies with hot teas and cocoa. Chef has cooked for the SD Opera, Academy Awards, American Idol, Palm Springs Convention Center and has a great variety of breakfast entrees' to offer each morning. Enjoy the afternoon on the scenic veranda which overlooks the city with views to the waterfront. It is located to the freeway systems and the airport and downtown San Diego. A fun variety of transportation is available from the trolley, to the Yellow Go cars, electric bikes, pedicabs and Segways....all part of the green transportation.

Clean, comfortable, and romantic B&B centrally located

The B&B was in a great location very close to Little Italy. The rooms were clean and spacious and the vibe was romantic. The best part was the free breakfast which was top tier and made from scratch. Very good value for the accomodations and perks!

22 nd wedding Anniversary

Over all was a good place, very close to Pier where we did the Hornblower dinner cruise. Place was clean food wad excellent. When we arrive on a friday there was nobody to greet us, we had to walk to a hotel one block away to get keys. Advertising of our room was deceiving it was adrvertised as a room with private bathroom, but bathroom was outside and we had to walk thru dinning area so we had no privacy. If you want privacy DO NOT book the Tusacany no. 2 room.

Exceptional experience!

This B&B is a gem! [...] is a wonderful hostess and the gourmet breakfast served was outstanding. Our room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable, offering great value. Located in Little Italy and close to downtown San Diego makes this a far better choice than staying at any of the larger hotels in the area. Don't miss this experience.

Wonderful Weekend!

After a relaxing night at the Italian Bed and Breakfast followed by an out of this world breakfast, I Sailed on the Stars and Stripes while my wife visited the Maritime Museum. The next day we visited the Midway Museum, and both days we ate at some wonderful restaurants. All in all, we didn't want to go home (Thank you Mary!)

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

When you go to the Midway, the food is good but pretty basic so if you want a nice lunch have it before you get there. Also, wear comfortable shoes!
