great location
Limited parking. Great location right in the middle of small shops. Minutes to golden gate bridge. Unfortunately, the staff was not friendly and the rooms were not clean. The bathroom didn't have a lock and a fan.

unbeatable location for the price.
The hotel is okay.I got the price w/c is deserving for the place.there's no remote control for the T.V.,the towels were too small.so when you take a bath,not enough to dry yourself & it's too limited for a couple to use.I requested this to the customer service,"they run out,"as a response.

It's a walking distance to bay area,esp.when u want to jog or walk.Lots of restuarants to choose,it's just a walking distance.Accessible to every place.

You get what you pay for
We were on the 3rd floor. The tv reception was horrible, and our shower leaked to the floor below us. AC/heater didn't work and alarm clock didn't work. No coffee, only muffins and juice for free breakfast. Room was old and carpet was dirty. On the plus side, the location is great. Close to bus lines and an IHOP across the street.

Stop and sleep
All I needed was a bed and a bathroom, both of which were clean. The location was good, and several great restaurants were within walking distance, as was the Muni stop. A continental breakfast was included, and it consisted of muffins and toast - nothing special at all. I would stay there again.

The Tipsy Pig is just around the corner; it is a great place to meet friends for a meal. Across the street from the The Tipsy Pig is a wonderful Italian restaurant, E'Angelo. It is a very small, quaint establishment that is perfect for parties of two or for dining alone. Both The Tipsy Pig and E'Angelo are located on Chestnut Street.

This hotel is very old but it was clean, the front office was helpful in obtaining information to get to Fisherman's Wharf, the rooms were small and the parking is bad there are twice the rooms compared to parking spaces.

Americas Best value inn
The rooms were ok they were small but clean. The parking is limted to first come first serve. So they dont have enough parking for all the guest.There is parking around the corner free from 9pm to 9am The staff was ok not real friendly. There is alot of places to eat in that area. so thats a plus.all within walking distance.

It was close to my destination
Used the motel to sleep only. The location is near the Presidio, my destination for a conference.The hotel had phone problems and my cell had almost no coverage, and the motel also had plumbing problems all in the span of 2 days. The manager was nice an thoughtful, [...]

San Francisco really charges for their motels- I did not have a car, but I suppose if one is driving this would be a steal for $80.00 a night plus a parking space

Decent but average.
The check in was quick and they let me check in a few minutes early. Room service came and asked if there was anythnig we needed not long after we got settled into the room. It was kind of noisy with the room facing the street, but I'm glad there was an elevator because the friend I was staying with has back problems. There were only 30 channels though and not all of them worked. Over all though it was simple and clean and served its purpose, a place to sleep.

There's a restraunt called Absinthe, go there it's amazing, it may be a short drive about a $10 cab ride and the prices are a little high, but the quality is amazing. There were several bars and restraunts around but since we were there only one night, I'll be coming back.

Good hotel Compare to the Price...The Parking is a bit Tough to get but there is a Parking Garage next block from the Hotel..The best thing is da Location..You wont get any Better then this..The bars, clubs,Lounges and the Restaurants all are 5-10 mins Walk...Staffs are friendly...
