Civic Center Motor Inn

Orbitz does not tell you that this hotel is under construction. I arrived at 5:30- and there was still work going on. There are no heaters in these rooms- you have to ask for a space heater- which was a small, round heater that was very loud and lit up the entire room. I asked if I could please just check out, and go to another hotel, the frount desk staff said he would lose his job since I pre-paid through orbtiz. I called orbitz in tears and they could offer no help but to just offer to call the frount desk clerk. As a single woman, It was not safe there- and I am so disappointed that orbitz does not follow up with details given to them by the hotels, and can offer no help. It was winter, raining- and no heaters in the room; I do not believe this is "adminity disagreement' which is what orbiz's called it. I will not use this hotel or orbitz again.

Clean rooms. Nice breakfast included.

The hotel is under renovation. The front parking was very inconventient. I felt the back parking was not safe. I saw a person going over the trash bin in the back. If I'm by myself I might go back to the hotel but if I have my family with me I will be concern for their safety. The complementary continental breakfast was excellent.

I've stayed at the hotel many times and have never really be disappointed. The rooms are usually very clean and the fact they have parking is a plus. The location is the best, walking distance to nightlife, shopping, public transit, freeways, etc.

At check in the desk person was about as rude as could be. Other staff during my stay were very nice. The speaker on the TV in my room was blown and sounded very bad. I complained and asked that it be changed three times (once a day for three days) but if was never fixed or swapped out. Breakfast was disappointing. No meat, very little fresh fruit. Mainly toast, cereal, juice and coffee.

Hotel was bit far. It would be okay if someone has a car. Hotel has free breakfast, which was pretty good. But I had terrible nights that other customers got drunk and screaming all night. I told stuff in Hotel but was told me that I should have noticed. This was bad.

The room was very clean and had been updated fairly recently. The location was perfect for what we needed though the neighborhood was not the best. The staff were very helpful with directions and suggestions for local restaurants.

This hotel is not in the best neighborhood but the rooms were recently remodeled and were very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the staff was very nice. If you want a decent place for a cheap price, stay here. Market Street is very close so you can get anywhere you want to go in the city.

tidy rooms with a mini fridge and microwave. good wifi connection friendly staff.only thing is the location is a bit off from main points of view but it is worth the money..

The hotel was conveniently located on a busy street for visibility as well as safety. We got the same room which was accessible to the front office, parking, laundry area, and pool. It was also just 2 blocks from Downtown Market Street as well as other popular spots. My granddaughter and I just love this piece of property and will return whenever we're in town. Kudos to all who made our first stay so wonderful that we would want to return again and again. Go Best Western Civic Center!!
