Stop in San Francisco

Clean hotel that is located close to the fishermans warf. The hotel has a modern look but feels like a older 60's motel with a makeover that doent fit. It had four elevators but one did not work and the others were very slow even with low trafic.. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but I would say average for what you pay. The inernet was expensive and parking also, no brake for being a guest of the hotel, same rate and anyone using there garage at $51 a night. Overall I like the location but for the money, not the hotel and would not stay there again.

Good location for wharf...needs some attention

The Sheraton @ Fisherman's Wharf is an ideal location if most of your trip will be spent near the wharf. Though the hotel was nice and accommodating, allowing us early check in upon our arrival, there were some bothersome issues. The elevators were running extremely slow and one was broken and being repaired. The other issue, most disturbing was the water was turned off for two hours for repair work presumably, though washrooms weren't closed off. So, a trip into the washroom in the lobby proved more disgusting than a public restroom. Car rental company located on site which is convenient, and parking.

One nighter

Very nice hotel in the heart of the action of Fisherman's Wharf. Easy walk to everything. Met for one night stay in the city celerbrating my sister in-laws birthday. I've been to this hotel several times before with out of town relatives. They love the location. Will go back the next time.

Great location, not great service

The Sheraton on Fisherman's Wharf needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. The people at reception were completely animatronic and uninterested in doing more than the barest minimum to check us in or out of the hotel. The staff at the food kiosk were actively rude and slow. Additionally, they repeatedly burned the coffee. The Sheraton seems to be a "nickle and dime" hotel, where every possible service charge is applied vigorously. from the $50 a night parking fee that is applied, to the $6.00 charge for a bagel with butter, to the $1.50 charge for local phone calls. Our toilet was not working reliably and we were afraid to mention it in case there was a repair fee that would be charged to us. Also, we were charged a "parking tax" of 14.1%. I've never heard of a parking tax that comes on top of sales tax AND a tourist tax. The only good thing about that hotel was the bed, which was comfortable. We won't be back
