Stricly for the Airport
do not walk here or take the Caltrain here. the surrounding area is shady. there is a strange smell they apply to all the rooms, it was mildly unpleasant but not a deal breaker. the airport shuttle will take you to the airport but it'll stop by a few nearby hotels first, so plan accordingly. in a nutshell: only stay here if you are in transit from SFO: it's inconvenient if you want to do anything within the Bay Area. disregard this advice if you own a car.

the IHOP next door is the only really safe option for doing anything around the hotel unless you have a car.

Pre-flight stay
Prior to early flight we chose to stay at the Travelodge instead of driving to SFO verrrry early in the morning. All was well for what we needed. Note: the complimentary breakfast was not available for our 04:30 departure. In general, the half-hour scheduld bus runs can potentially add to one's total home-to-airport travel time which makes the lost sleep time about the same whether one uses an airport hotel or get up even a little earlier.

Really dirty!
The bathroom was so dirty and smell was horrible. The room was not clean, the carpet was more than just dirty.

Nice, Clean, Great Price
Right next to the airport, only a little tricky since it's directly adjacent to 3 freeway junctions. Overall very clean and I think the bed/linen were fairly new.

Good for the airport / on a budget
This place does the job if you're on a budget or need to be close to the airport. Weird stains on the carpet...

Fantastic location.
This hotel locates so close to SFO. Room is fairy clean and good to stay but the only problem is the noise from outside. You can feel kind of noise of the racing games in the evening. Except that, this hotel is quite great to stay.

Average getaway
I have had a chance to stay here two times now. Both times i reserved a King bed and got two queen bed room.Looks like they deliberately do that. The hotel description shows free internet but when you try to connect in room it will not work,When i complained to the reception they said they are not internet specialist and it works only in reception lobby. Seriously they expect you to surf in the reception. Not happy with my stay..there are no doors to the bathroom and has an ordinary tub.
