New Year's Eve Stay
The hotel is easy to find and get on/get off of I-880. The location is ideal for a night before you fly out of SJC. There is a nice (but noisy) mexican restaurant a short walk from the hotel. The room was very clean. The only complaint was the desk area was too tight to use comfortably.

Quiet and great location!
We stay here every time we visit our girls in San Jose. It is very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast bar included. It is a fun 2-mile walk down the Alameda to downtown San Jose. The price is very reasonable also.

Sketchy room
We were visiting Santa Clara University and the location was close. The hotel in general was dirty and old and needs remodeled. I used the dial microwave to warm up coffee and upon taking the coffee out the microwave started making sparks and burned out. The shower fixture did not have scald protection and fluctuated from warm and scalding hot. Old tv and mirrors placed in curious positions. A low income looking apartment building was directly behind the hotel.

SoCal born and raised
Close to airport, without the noise!
We needed a cheap place to stay close to San Francisco, which means flying into and staying near San Jose. This hotel was very close to the airport and freeway and offered everything we needed. Wireless internet is fast (and doesn't require you to "accept terms" every time you go online) and the breakfast is nice and simple. It's perfect when you dont' plan on staying in your hotel too much. The room was surprisingly huge also, and they have a DVD player with your tv. Good deal!

ok, no working power outlets for laptop
Room was ok. But, there were no spare outlets to plug your laptop or to charge your mobiles. There were few, but it was not working. I had to pull out some of the lights plugs to utilize those power points for mobile charging. This is really odd. I was not planning to stay in the room, so didn't complain much (no time for that). Didn't try for breakfast/WIFI/TV, so no idea. But, over all it was okay.
