One-stop hub for business travelers in the heart of Silicon Valley
Located in the thick of San Jose's business district, the Holiday Inn San Jose - Airport offers stunning views of the Silicon Valley skyline. The oversized rooms, many of them updated in 2010, are only half the appeal, though. Proximity to the airport and high-tech company headquarters, plus meeting rooms for big groups and small, a complimentary business center, airport shuttle, on-site dining and even laundry services, make it an especially appropriate choice for work travelers.Highlights:
- Outdoor heated pool is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily
- Complimentary airport shuttle
- AAA 3 Diamond rating
- San Fresco restaurant open for three meals a day and room service
Rooms:
Holiday Inn San Jose's spacious, contemporary rooms and suites are perfect for on-the-road workers. A complimentary USA Today is delivered to each room on weekdays, and coffee for the in-room coffee-makers is replenished daily. Cable TV and pay-per-view movies aid relaxation before guests drift off to sleep in a comfortable queen- or king-size bed.
Features:
Between the California Ballroom, which boasts San Jose's only spiral staircase and 16,000 square feet of meeting space, Holiday Inn San Jose - Airport holds its own as an event destination. Complimentary amenities, such as a fitness room, airport shuttle, heated outdoor pool and business center, give the property a resort-like feel. The on-site restaurant, San Fresco, specializes in Mediterranean and Pacific flavors and serves three meals a day.

Convention Attendees! and anyone wanting to read
When I first checked in, the hotel looks really nice and the lady at the counter called me over and she was nice and gave us directions to our hotel room (we would have been lost looking for it xD). We were hoping for a bag cart because we had a couple of bags with us but they didn't have any so that was alright. We got to our room and it was clean and everything worked and I was so happy because last year I checked in at days inn and it was disgusting over there so seeing this room made me superbly happy. I was checking in for a convention at downtown San Jose and they have shuttle rides to the convention, that saved me a lot of gas and not paying for parking fees. I give the hotel 5/5 because it saved me a lot of money and the room was perfect, I'll probably come back and stay there again, as long as they keep the parking free during memorial weekend xD.

It was a nice short stay
We were there to see our son off to MEPS. The rooms were nice, a tad small. The staff was very friendly. We were only there one night, but it was a nice night.

Nice Logn Weekend Vac.
The Wyndham is located near the airport, rapid transit and freeways and a short drive to downtown San Jose. The Lobby & Pool Areas continue to be under construction, in a couple of months it should be completed and beautifully updated. Rooms & Maid Service was very good and the rooms were clean even though they could use a little upgrading. Great Workout Room with tread mills, elliptical machines and weight systems.

Short drive from hotel
The Front Desk provided a great Diner which is located a short drive next to the 4th Street Bowling Alley. Great Breakfast and Service. A great change from the Denny's Menu.

The worst!!! Horrible. Run away.
Wow. Talk about an unpleasant place. 1) Under construction. 2) The toilets near the ballrooms spit up water every time you flush, so the seats are always wet, and water sprays on your legs when you're leaving. 3) No conditioner or body lotion in the room. They're too cheap. 4) No stopper in the bathtub. You must call the front desk if you want to take a bath. 5) One soap per room: wash your face or wash your body. 6) The restaurant is closed Friday and Saturday night, even though the sign says dinner 5-10 pm every night. 110 attendees at an event are invited to share 18 chairs in the bar for dinner. 7) The "free morning coffee" is only free Monday to Friday. 8) If you DO get to eat in the restaurant, the service is awful. Even at a buffet. Ask for coffee and they'll bring you a pitcher but forget the cup. 9) And on and on and on. 10) Internet is $9.99 a day, and each day ends at 1pm. Sorry to be such a shrew. I just want you to get a picture of what to expect. Next month I'll stay at Motel 6.

Under construction
This hotel was under construction for my visit. The fire alarm went off at 5:30 am and again an hour later. They may have been testing the system. The rooms have been remodeled, very nice. Had to run the hot water a while to get warm water in the sink and shower. Location is good and they provide shuttle service to and from the airport. I might try the hotel again once construction is completed.

Paying extra for Internet
Beds, comfortable; Bathrooms - All three rooms had bathtub drainage problems; Internet - Apparently since we booked via o.r.bitz we had to pay extra for Internet. I think it is ridiculous that hotels still charge for Internet when restaurants and coffee shops do not; Location - convenient location with easy access to downtown via the metro rail thing.
