Decent hotel and location
I stayed here once before and it's amazing what a difference the staff can make. During my first stay I found the hotel staff to be unhelpful, and even rude. During my most recent stay, everyone was very nice and helpful. The attitude of the staff can have a big impact on your stay here. The hotel itself is nice, clean, and the beds are comfortable. It's all up to the staff to make your stay because they can either make it horrible or very enjoyable depending on which people you're dealing with.

Okay hotel, poor service
I was staying just one night because I had an early flight the next morning. When I went to check in I was informed the shuttle was not running due to 'mechanical issues' and they weren't sure if it would be back up and running in time to get me to the airport. The man who checked me in was very rude and rushed me through it. He also offered no help for arranging a ride to the airport. He just grunted when I asked if that meant I would have to take a cab. The hotel room itself was average. Nothing special but it was clean and I slept well on the bed so I can't complain about the room, just the service.

Professional Grandma
Friendly, convenient family hotel
I especially like this hotel because it's conveniently close to the family we visited. The staff was exceptionally friendly towards my 2 year old grand-daughter, and while the breakfast was enjoyed immensely by the 2 year old, the never-changing menu got old for her Grandma after the first couple days. The room was clean, the towels were fresh--the carpet a little worn, but it was ok and a good value for the money. We did wake up one morning (Like 5:30 am!)to people talking out in the courtyard under our window and decided the walls were a little thin. All in all, we had a good stay and will go back.

Short walk from hotel
If you get tired of the hotel breakfast, the Denny's across the street can be a good alternative.

Clarion in Colorado Springs
My father stayed in the hotel while he was there to accompany my daughter at the Olympic training center. The facilities were fine. Nothing glamourous but he doesn't really care about glamour just somewhere to sleep.

Average Hotel Breakfast is a plus
Rooms were clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. The location was not in the best part of town.

Budget Conscious Business Traveler
A bed to sleep in...
I was sent to Colorado Springs on a Business Trip. While searching for a hotel, my primary concerns were cost and proximity to the downtown location I would be visiting. The hotel was very close to downtown (literally across the bridge). The desk clerks were very friendly and made the check in / check out process completely painless. The hotel itself was somewhat in disrepair and had a very outdated decor. Looking at it from a frequent travelers perspective, it was a bed to sleep in and a hot shower. Not really much else. I did use the pool and the fitness center. Both were comparable to other hotels of this price point. The hot breakfast was a little bit of a surprise. Instead of having a buffet style hot breakfast set out, meals were made to order from a menu. The staff serving breakfast was not very prompt in providing service or even acknowledging my presence but the food was good. Comparable to a Denny's (which there is one right across the street). For a budget conscious traveler, this is a good value. For someone looking for a more high end traveling experience, it is probably not a good fit. All in all it was a reasonable experience.

Short drive from hotel
In the center of downtown there is a very long list of available restaurants and bars that are available. They are all a very short drive from the hotel with easy to find parking in the vicinity.

The good and the bad.
When i walked into the front door I thought i got a good hotel. The guy at the desk couldn't be any nicer great service there. when we headed for are room the hallways where horrible. The steps goin up felt like you would fall threw. When we got into the room the ceilling was cracked all the way down the middle and they threw plaster up on half of it and it looked horrible. We left the next day to go see some waterfalls when we showed back up around 5pm are room still wasn't clean we had to leave again so they could clean the room.

Very Nice
Check-in went very well with no mistakes regarding my reservation and the staff was informative and looked for ways to serve us. The room was quiet and there were trees which provided seclusion even if the windows were open. The bed was the best hotel bed I have ever slept on, I woke up refreshed. This was the best hotel experience I have had. I would recommend it to anyone and am looking forward to visiting in the future.
