good points, bad points
took family on vacation. As soon as we check in we find out there is a 10 dollar a night parking fee, which was not advertised in the description of the hotel. Next we get are room, which is clean but small. The bathroom is really small with barely enough room to get dressed in it. The room was also on the west side of the hotel, which has a decent view of the mountains, but is also about 150 ft. away from highway 25. The "heated pools" must mean room temprature because they were definitly NOT heated! However the staff was friendly. The rooms clean and beds were comfy. I would not, however, recommend my friends to stay there.

Completely DIRTY bed linens
I was there for business. That evening being exhausted, went to climb into bed only to find the sheets had brown and black dirt marks all over them.

The facility is excellent with staff visibly cleaning and polishing. Staff members always spoke and many asked if we needed anything. When I discovered that the hair dryer didn't work it was replaced in less than 10 minutes and came with many apologies. As a convention hotel it was well planned and obvious that the staff is experienced in dealing with large crowds. Our largest complaint was getting food. The Italian restaurant advertised was closed for good. There was a coffee bar where you could buy take out breakfast and snacks. The LIFT restaurant in the atrium had a small staff and limited menu. The breakfast buffet for 2 can cost over $30 with coffee and a tip. At times they were overcome with the crowds and with a 7 night stay it got boreing. The hotel offred free rides to not-so-near-by food but they too were often overwhelmed by a large convention.

Bring snacks and plan to take the hotel van to near by restaurants. There would be fewer problems on a short stay but a week visit leaves you craving more variety. There is excellent Mexican food across the street at Garcia's and a Wendys in the next block so you won't starve.

Marriott Denver Tech Center
I'm moving to Denver, so I was there to find a place to live. The staff was really great! On multiple occasions I needed to fax documents and they were able to help. I also did some exploring of downtown Denver, which was really easy because the Marriott Denver Tech Center is within walking distance to a light rail station. When my landlord came to meet with me about signing my lease, I was worried that he might have to pay for parking, which would have been an awful surprise! I talked to the front desk and they were able to give me a guest pass so he wouldn't have to pay for parking. Unfortunately, even though you're paying a lot per night to stay there, you'll also pay $10/day for parking. On the weekends (or at least from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning when I was there) the parking gate was up. That meant that people could drive in, park, and drive out without having to pay. I though this wasn't fair as I was charged for parking while the gate was up. I brought this up to the front desk when I checked out. Even though the man helping me was a complete sour puss, he took off one day's parking fee.

Take the light rail into Denver. It's pretty quick, you get downtown, and you don't have to park your car when you get there!

Nice place, but
I was a little disappointed that such a big hotel(located in a tech center) would charge $10 per day for in the room internet service. There was a business center with 2 computers and copiers and a fax machine. During the time I was there I had to wait to get one of the 2 desktops while teenage girls checked their myspace. I was also surprised that we were charged $10 per day to park there. Like we had a choice. This hotel needs more restaurant choices too. There was a free continental breakfast, but no restaurant service except for Starbucks until 3pm each day.
