Bad distribution
The location was great, near the golden peak lifts and the kids skischool, but the distribution was very bad, to get to the lobby or to the gym from the room you have to go outside even when was freezing. The room was average with old furniture. They charge $25/day parking and $15/day for the crib (crazy because It is the first time a hotel charge for that). I will not recommend it. Sorry!.

Low expectations
not much to get excited about, walls are paper thin! Bed was not good, hot tubs were shut down. Not a value for the money.

cramped
told staff that we were there to check out the property for future visits. there were only 3 other guests in our wing and they gave us the smallest room avail. probably because of the great price we got on Orbitz. they didn't up grade us. we had such a hard time finding our room, a worker had to escort us(and he had a little trouble too). it was a bummer to find the adjoining empty rooms open. and have the worker shut them. anyway the bed was comfy even though it was 3 feet off the floor and filled the room. barely room for a night stand. the bath room was clean and large. the tv was soo small (my laptop has a bigger screen). no airconditioning but it was off season and it was cool at night. you have to get a 1 bedroom to have any comfort at all. both dining rooms were closed .chair lift across the street.

Good location for families
Great buffet every morning. Bus stop very close by to get to the rest of the villages in Vail. Bus system was very easy to use even with 4 kids. Our room was okay, but at least it was spacious. We did request a washer and dryer and they accommodated us.

Short walk from hotel
We had a room on the side nearest the lifts. It was just a walk across the parking lot to ski school, day care, and the lifts. At the end of the day cookies and hot chocolate were ready in the lobby.

Good location
Enjoyed the walk in Betty Ford Garden right next to the hotel. Hotel was walking distance from town. Bus station is right across from the hotel taking you to town. I don't think the room was worth the money I paid.

fabulous summer get-away
You couldn't ask for a better location! Easy access to everything. The room was beautiful but the sheets didn't seem to be very clean. We stripped the bed & asked for new ones and they were delivered in a timely manner. Staff was very friendly & helpful. We took advantage of the pool area & loved it.
