ok
Location is great, but make sure you are in the Riverside building. The Mountain side building has a horrible set up and has no access to the main building. The unit was run down and tired. The room was dirty and the kitchen was old and dirty as well. It wasnt worth the money. Also, the room didn't have wifi.

Floor still had corn nuts on it from prior guest
We have stayed at many different hotels in WP but never spurlged to stay at ZML until this visit. So perhaps I had really high expectations of this ski in/out condo. We arrived at the condo and were greeted with a long check in line. Okay, no big deal. We got checked in and were still really excited as this was our first ski trip for the year because we just had a baby (10 weeks old). We brought him along for his first trip to the mountains. We stayed here because we had to put him in daycare and were told it would be very convient which it was for that purpose. We walked into a freezing cold room and as we stepped in we were surprised by corn nuts on the carpet. Thank goodness our child does not crawl yet. The bathroom had a lot of flaws especially the toilet, it was old and had chips in it, yuck and not expected when you pay so much for a room. The couch had white spots on it so we covered it with the extra blanket in the closet. The location was the only good thing about the room we stayed in.

Great Location, other stuff less good
The location of this complex and our unit could not have been better, and the indoor parking under the building was nice. The unit was well appointed, and comfortable. But, considering that this building was built just a few years ago, there were some glaring deficiencies. The shower was awful, and did not drain well. And the walls were paper thin- could hear others in the hall and in other units. Might go back, but only at the right price.

Amazing!!!
5 stars all the way!! Lifts, restaurants and shops right outside our hotel. Heated garage was a nice touch. Room was nice, cozy and clean. Loved the fireplace and full equipped kitchen. We used the hot tubs every day after long day on the slopes. Clean towels and plastic cups were placed right by the hot tubs for our use. Everyone in the hotel and on the slopes were friendly, profesional and very plesant. We are definitely coming back next year.

dont stay here if your on vacation!!
The room wasn't ready till after 5pm. There were so many people waiting it was like a mob. The lady kept saying she would take care of things but she didn't. We stayed 2 nights and they never cleaned the room. Didn't even get clean towels. For these prices you expect great service this was like a cheap motel. Still waiting for a call back from management.

Great Summertime Escape
We wanted a one night getaway from Denver and this was perfect! We took our two children up August 20th in time to catch the last weekend of their summer activities. In the Village at Winter Park they have wonderful children's activities including the Alpine Slide, Bungee trampolines, human maze, jumpy house, zip line, miniature golf, etc.... If you want a full or half day of entertainment, buy the adventure pass (better deal). The best deal is an all day pass especially if you kids are old enough to ride the Alpine Slide by themselves!!! We also happened upon the Fairy Festival celebrating the author of the Fairy Houses. There was free face painting and fairies wandering around the crowds (make sure to check the internet for activities the weekend you plan to attend). Our daughter was MOST happy! The one bedroom condo was perfect for us. Comfortable (although remember that there is no air conditioning in the summer as God provides the cool evenings in the mountains). The rooms can get quite toasty during the day though. Had we been staying longer we definiely would have brought food to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. Food in the Village is pricey but convenient. The town of Winter Park is only a 5 minute drive and has lots of food options. The closest grocery store is 2 miles PAST town (Safeway), so don't give up and turn around too soon. Love Winter Park in the summer and can't wait to go back this winter!

Fantastic Property
I booked at the Zephyr in a hurry and did not really pay attention to what I was doing, happily this time I lucked out. When I arrived at Winter Park it was instantly clear that you are either in the village or not. The Zephyr sits right in the middle of the village so everything was a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful (we had never been to Winter Park at all before). The property is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in a lowest-end one bedroom unit on the lower level and it was gorgeous inside. Full condo living, complete with DVD/VCR and a nice selection of movies from the unit owner. We had a patio at ground level, and a nice evening to enjoy it. The only problem we had was some noise from party-goers around midnight, but a call to security cleared that right up. We will definitely repeat.

cold tubs
We came to ski and relax. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the hotel but the hot tubs were not hot which was very disappointing. They couldn't even be used. A computer for guests would have been nice but I realize most people travel with there own.

Zephyr Mountain Lodge
The ski in ski out feature was great for us. Also that you could store your ski's downstairs--we had a locker and also extra storage for skis if you locker was full, or someone else had the key. Staff was friendly--for the price I thought housekeeping could be better. They don't come at all if you are only staying a few days.
