Hotel well located, but rooms were a little shoddy. Lights bulbs missing, outlets that didn't work, and not equipped as advertised. No microwave or refrigerator, or DVD player (see advertised amenities). Cleaning staff polite and helpful. Only one ice machine (third floor for entire five story hotel.) Otherwise seemed disinterested in pleasing guests -the focus was primarily on varied activities in conference rooms, church gatherings and sale of ethnic items. Not worth the price.
I got out and about Hartford and environs on my own -asked directions from desk and given wrong names of destinations!!! Found them on a search on my GPS!!!!
Enjoyed Hartford museums and parks - nice city to visit. The desk didn't have a map, knew nothing about the Star Bus system and didn't even have a local paper to look up a movie schedule. Told me to go to a store and buy a paper!!!

The hotel was conveniently located off the thru way, however that also resulted on alot of traffic noise all night. Although the room was "cleaned" daily, there was still the same hair on the floors each day. The pool also had the same clumps of hair in the bottom of the pool all three days we were there. The pool water wasn't very clear, and one evening of swimming when we needed to go ask for towels, we were told there were not enough for everyone.

An alright night stay for the location

I made it a romantic night for me and my girlfriend. It was easy since there was a in room jacuzzi with wrap around mirrors. The room was clean, the bathroom was small, a dvd player in the room would of been an added plus. Overall it was an enjoyable stay but could have been a little better. Was worth the amount paid for the room.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay and its location to downtown Hartford is great if you are trying to save some money.

The hotel is reasonably clean and is in good order. The staffs are courteous and responsive. The location is a little remote from downtown Hardfort and need a taxi or car to go out. The hotel is near highway I-84 and is noisy at night due to the highway traffic. The internet connection is extremely slow and barely usable for only short text messages. This needs hotel’s IT attention to fix the internet connection problem on bandwidth because it remained unusually slow for multiple days. The hot breakfast is basically the sausage, bacon, and cup-cake like eggs (look like as if artificial egg material, not tasty). The cold breakfast is usual and good.

That hotel was fine. If I were to nitpick, I would say that the ironing board could have been in better shape. Parking was plentiful and free, check-in and out was flawless and I slept like a baby.

I stayed at this hotel while visiting friends, did not spend much time at the location. The room was clean, quiet, well-maintained. I mentioned to the General Manager that the tag on the neck of the bottled water was in very small print, declaring that " There will be a $4.00 charge added to your bill if this water is consumed." Quite tacky. Upon returning to my room that evening, there were two complimentary bottles of water with a friendly note from the General Manager. Management is responsive to guests. Great Speakman shower heads. I would stay at this hotel again.
