Good value

We stayed for 2 nights and got good value for what we paid. Still, some improvements could be made that won't cost anything but will make guests more amenable to coming back. Please make sure hair dryers. The trucks/workers outside the hotel woke us up at 5 am. Breakfast was fine, but we had to ask the staff repeatedly to replenish the bagels, cream cheese, napkins, etc. There was only grape jelly available, which I abhor! Why can't there be an assortment?

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Chowder Pot restaurant nearby - just a short walk across 2 parking lots - was quite good.

Average stay

We stayed only for a night, while traveling up route 91. The hotel is located right off of the highway, near a gas station and MacDonalds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was old and very dated. There was a huge stain on the carpet and the comforters seemed very, very old! The elevator was so scary, we took the stairs! Its an average hotel off the highway, the area seemed safe, not a bad spot if your just passing through and the price is right. I wouldn't stay for more than a night though, but if I needed to pull of 91 again, I'm going try the Holiday Inn Express up the street.

Pretty Good

Was there for a bowling trip. The hotel was a short distance from the alley. The only down fall is the elevator smelled like smoke

only if there's nothing else available

Dirty, poorly maintained, and in a not so great area. Staff was ok--they're not given much to work with.

You get what you pay for

The Hotel is old and not very well kept up. For only 45 bucks a night, it is exactly what you would expect.

The Hartford Horror

This hotel was less than OK. It was run down, smelled like cigarette smoke and the air conditioners clanked and banged all night long but with it off it was stuffy and hot. We were there for a wake and funeral so didn't have alot of choice but assumed Days Inns were all good. Not so in this case. Location was odd as well.

This place is a scary shady dump

This hotel was dirty and despite my paying in advance for 3 nights in the room, they did not have a room available for me. In a way I'm glad because this place was one of the worst hotels I've evr been to. There were tractor trailers parked in the back with people mulling around, what appeared to be hookers going in and out and the front desk was rude and low class. Do yourself a favor and NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL
