lovely hotel
A FRIEND AND I WENT TO HARTFORD FROM BOSTON TO GO TO THE WARPED TOUR AND WE TOOK THE BUS INTO TOWN WHICH THE BUS STATION IS RIGHT A ACROSS THE STREET WHICH WAS REALLY NICE SINCE WE'VE NEVER BEEN TO HARTFORD BEFORE. WE GOT IN TO TOWN AROUND 10AM AND CHECK IN IS AT 3PM BUT THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS REALLY NICE AND ALLOWED US TO CHECK IN REALLY EARLY. THE ROOM WAS A STANDARD TWO BED ROOM IT WAS CLEAN AND COLD WHICH WAS REALLY NICE GETTING OUT THE HEAT. THE ONLY BAD THING WAS THAT THE BATHROOM TRASH WAS SEMI-FULL. AFTER THE SHOW WE GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL ROOM AROUND 930PM AND SUPER HUNGRY THE FRONT DESK LADY GAVE US A FEW PLACES AND MENUS TO CALL BUT BECAUSE IT WAS A SUNDAY NIGHT MOST OF THESE PLACES WERE CLOSED, BUT WE FOUND A PLACE AND ONCE THE FOOD GOT TO THE HOTEL THE FRONT DESK CALLED AND ASK IF WE WANTED TO COME DOWN OR TO SEND THE DELIVER GUY TO THE ROOM. THE NEXT DAY WE GOT BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL WHICH FOR BEING IN THE CULINARY FIELD TO WAS BLAND BUT IT WILL DO. THE HOTEL WAS GREAT AND THE STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND NICE. IF AM EVER IN HARTFORD AGAIN I WILL BE STAYING AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS AGAIN!

Out of town wedding. Highly disappointed with rude front desk clerk. Got stuck in a smoking room due to hidden information on [...]website. Hotel was unable to change rooms. Very smelly.

This was a great location for the price
I was attending a Convention in Down Town Hartford. The location is central, the rooms were clean and the staff very friendly.Breakfast was OK......all the meats were Pork products which I don't eat.

Good place to stay - convenient
Clean and accommodating rooms. Staff courteous and helpful. Continential breakfast goes with the room - very adequate. No wi-fi, and that would have been nice. Convenient location - restaurants, XL Center, government buildings.

Nice room and excellent service
The Hotel desk clerk was very helpful. The rooms were clean. The breakfast in the mornings were good. The woman taking care of the food was excellent at keeping the place cleaned and stocked.

Unbeatable price for the location
I was on a short trip and wanted a clean, affordable place as nearby Hilton got sold out. This hotel turned out be just fine.

Great location and the most friendly
Great location and the most friendly staff we encountered during our entire trip. Would definitely stay there again. The absence of an in-house restaurant was no problem with so many available within easy walking distance. Apart from an excellent gym, the added bonus was having guest laundry facilities available within the hotel.
