BAD EXPERIENCE

WE BOOKED THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IN THE PAST WE HAD GREAT EXPERIENCES WITH RADISSONS. UPON ARRIVAL THE CLERK AT THE FRONT DESK ([...]) WAS ABSOLUTELY THE RUDEST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON I EVER MET. THE MANAGER ON DUTY ([...]) WAS NO BETTER. I EXPLAINED WE STAY AT RADISSONS ALL THE TIME AND WE NEVER GET TREATED SO POORLY. SHE SAID THEY WEREN'T A RADISSON SO GET USE TO IT. SURE ENOUGH, WHILE WE WERE THERE THEY WERE OUTSIDE CHANGING THE SIGN. APPARENTLY THE HOTEL GOT SOLD LAST TUESDAY. I ASKED WHO OWNED IT BECAUSE I'D LIKE THEM TO KNOW WHAT WE EXPERINCED. THEY SAID THEY HAD NO IDEA WHO OWNS IT. BAD, BAD, BAD. THE AC WAS ALSO NOT WORKING IN THE HOTEL FOR THE TWO DAYS WE WERE THERE AND IT WAS 90 DEGREES OUT.

Save yourself a headache, Stay away !

Expect a poorly lit parking area open to the surrounding sketchy neighborhood,A snotty, poorly trained desk staff overseeing a sloppily maintained property featuring antique CRT TVs, broken plumbing with odors and noise wafting from the hallway all night. The manager [...], if you can find him, seems like an unconcerned slumlord. Radisson headquarters's comment ?: "Sorry,The Hotel is privately owned" I travel on average 2 nights per week all year for business. This hotel was my worst experience in 10 years and I had my family with me.Steer clear!

New London CT- Radisson

From the minute you enter the lobby you know that you are NOT in a top notch hotel. The carpet is dirty, the fixtures seem dated, and the staff behind the counter, though friendly, seemed unprofessional. Our room was on the second floor, the carpet was stained and torn, there was a pull missing from the drawer and the bathroom sink was plugged up. Others in our party experienced worse - broken lamps, missing alarm clock, no toiletries in the bathroom etc. Things felt run down and not entirely clean. I would most definitely NOT stay here again, even though the location was very convenient for our purposes.

Convenient, friendly, but not so clean

We were in New London for the Parents' Weekend at Connecticut College. The hotel was only 5 minutes from the college and in downtown New London, which is a cute, upcoming little town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the upper corridors and our room seemed like they needed a deep cleaning. The place did not small fresh and clean. There were dark smudges on the phone next to the bed. The bathroom was fine, with good-quality complementary shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion. Hot buffet breakfast was $12; cold was $6. The hotel's big deal is Sleep-Number beds. They worked fine, but were not a big deal to us.

Muddy Waters is a really cute little breakfast/lunch place, with tables in the front room, couches in the back room, and a deck that overlooks the river. Great baked goods.

Wonderful Hotel

We like this location as it is near Mohegan Sun Casino. We were attending a concert there. We also enjoy New London. There are nice shops and great restaurants. The hotel staff is very helpful and the hotel itself is quiet.

Tired Hotel!

Poor customer service, toilets ran all night (two rooms), had to ask for towels etc. three different times, no air conditioning in the lobby or elevators. Tired hotel along with the staff.

A quiet romantic getaway

The hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and was a good size. We wished we spent more time at the hotel enjoying the indoor pool. We will be staying there again.

Relaxing as always

Travel to a hotel on my own once a year to get away from a hectic and cold winter in Maine. I always stay at this hotel because the rooms are relaxing and beautiful, the bed is very posh and ultra-comfy and the the pool is HOT! I do not go to the hotel restaurant due to the high cost of average-quality food, but there are so many wonderful little places on Bank St* (walking distance,) the hotel restaurant is irrelevant anyway. I love this hotel and look forward to my stay annually. *For a fun local bar experience, Ernie's on Bank St is an absolute MUST!!!!

Sketcy 'hood

This hotel looked really nice online. They don't show you outside pictures for a reason. It's right next door to projects. We pulled in and there were no less than 15 people standing on a nearby sidewalk drinking and making tons of noise... The inside of the hotel was actually really nice and the staff was very pleasant, but I was just unable to relax thinking if my car was safe or not...
