Disappointing
This hotel as both homeless and paying guess staying at the hotel. It is not right to have paying guess staying with these individuals. I walked into the lobby where people where hanging out...I felt like on back on the streets of New york. Did not stay and was unable to get my money back. The front desk attendent was rudy. I will not be returning there.

The location of the hotel , out in no where, their service is bad and not resposive, the price is very very high for this location, near by hotels are in the rang of $70, mentioning it is near station is a lay, as it is 5 miles away without transportation means to there, I do not recomend this hotel for others

Great location and price for family trip
The description "Near Union Station" was a bit off - 3 miles off to be exact, but the shuttle service more than made up for it, if you could get on the shuttle at the busy times!!! The rooms were excellent, spacious and comfortable.

Short drive from hotel
Travelling with kids, it's convenient for all the Smithsonian Museums and The Mall. using Union Station as a base helps kids get their bearings and use the metro. The choice of food venues at Union Station saved a lot of hassle when it came to eating.

Stayed 3 nights. Not even close to Union Station as featured in the ad. I never got the nonsmoking room I reserved. Over priced for what I got. Only nice feature was the staff.

A nice hotel with reasonable price
A nice hotel with reasonable price and convenient facilities. The staff was friently and helpful. I would choose to stay there again when there is a chance.

My stay in DC
The location provided me with access to EVERYTHING in the DC area. The staff were so polite and friendly it was like being with family. Though located on a busy traffic road the noise from outside did not make itself known on the inside of the hotel. I will definetly stay at the hotel on return visits to the DC area.

Radon
Don't stay here!
Do not stay here. The staff is not only not friendly they are mean, rude and down right nasty. If you have family and care about them, this is not the place to stay. There is homeless people living in the parking garage. The website says it is close to several things, don't believe that at all. Pay $50 more and stay somewhere nicer. Please!!
