First room we were issued had several defects. However, the hotel staff was prompt in giving us another room upon request.

Good location. Walking distance to the Nationals Stadium. Just a few stops on the Metro to National Mall and Airport Downside: not alot of options for dining relatively close.

Great Staff and Nice Rooms
Family trip to DC with two teenage kids. Location was very convenient for Metro but the immediate neighborhood lacks restaurants. Staff was great. Able to give us good guidance on where and how to get food. Important since the food at the hotel seems more geared for corporate (expense account) clients. Would definitely use again on business trip, but might pass for on our next family visit.

good location - close to all touristy places
Very close to all monuments/museums. Starbucks, Subway, Five Guys and CVS are in the adjacent block. The metro station is very close but we were 4 ppl and it was cold and raining so we preferred Cab. Did not spend more than 15$ every time I used a Cab - it was convinient. Parking was 25$ and very cramped. I left the car in the parking thin king it will be tough to drive around and find parking spots close to monuments, but realized it wasnt that bad. Front desk lady was pleasant to talk to. The lady taking care of the kitchen sounded rude, breakfast is expensive at the hotel. Room was comfy - used the coffee machine a lot.

Quality time
We were here for an overnight stay to attend a function and we met our friends. When we checked in the staff was very nice. We also had sometime to kill so we visited the bar area; the bartender there was also very pleasant. Upon leaving there to go to our function-our friend had laid down his phone-once we got to our destination he realized that he had left his phone behind. We called to the hotel and the bartender remembered us and had been calling our room to let us know that we left a phone; so when we got thru to him he was able to leave it with the front desk and we could pick it up on our return. When we returned a few hours later; he came right over to us and told us he kept it safe. These days it's very hard to find customer service that is that helpful. We have stayed at this hotel one other time and we loved it-the food is good, the staff is wonderful and the place is gorgeous! The rooms were very nice & we will definitely being staying here again.

Great Hotel
Courtyard Navy Yard was terrific. If you are coming in on the Metro as we did (from Reagan Airport) be sure to exit the Metro onto New Jersey Ave. Look left and you will see the hotel, one block away. Easy access to the Metro and very exceptional staff make it a great stay. The room was clean and quiet. Someone took my son's taxi and the Front Desk manager drove him personally to the Navy Yard for his audition. How can you beat that?

Try Justin's Cafe one block over for casual dining, the food was great, and the atmosphere was nice.
