We were not sure if it was safe to go out at night to a restaurant. There was really nothing within walking distance. Once inside everything was wonderful the staff went out of their way to make us happy. I would suggest a bar/restaurant inhouse so you dont have to go out in this location. We were approached by people for money which was sad and unfortunate for the homeless people. We felt bad.

Nice place to stay
Attended a nursing conference which was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Hotel provided a free shuttle service to the convention center which save me alot on taxi fair. Enjoyed the free breakfast uin the morning also, to help me get me energized for the day/

Stayed here for the weekend for the National Half Marathon. The hotel provided free shuttle service to/from the RFK stadium for the race (normally they provide service to/from Union Station every hour.) Loved that they served free breakfast, offered free wifi, maintained a clean pool, hot tub, and fitness center. It's a nice and cozy hotel for a weekend stay.

Best DC Deal even after paying Parking.
Best hotel staff. And, the hotel looks like a 4* Star. The hotel is located so close to the city. I had to pay for extra parking, but it still was the cheapest / best value.

great hotel and location
the service was wonderful, shuttle bus to and from union station was a real treat - made the trip much more manageable while traveling with three children
