Good overnight weekend stay
Rooms were clean and nice. Location is perfect behind Georgetown University hospital except that when they said they had parking we thought it was free for hotel customers but we ended up paying $25 for parking. Otherwise it was the cheapest but a very nice hotel we could find in the city. Breakfast however, is not included.

Georgetown is a historic area with lots of nice shops and a vibrant nightlife.

centrally located to the university, staff very personable and helpful. Room clean and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed ever. downside had to pay for parking and no free breakfast offered. Still will consider going back and explore the Georgetown area more.

Awesome Hotel
I had to stay at a hotel because I made an appointment in the morning for my Visa for France, and so my friends and I booked this hotel because it's literally right down the road from the French Embassy. Our room was awesome. The beds were so comfortable that we felt instantly at home. We had a big window with a view. There was a nice courtyard with a view of the city outside our floor that was pretty sweet, and the hotel management crew were very professional and cheerful!

Good hotel experience
Room was very nice. A bit on the expensive side, but well worth it. Breakfast option was only room-service or Starbucks.

GU Conf Center Hotal
Staff was friendly. Great location. Rooms are clean but pretty basic with very small bathroom/sink area. Overall they are a little expensive considering the amenities, or lack thereof. Parking is very expensive ($25 per day) but not controlled by the hotel. Blame the University for that. Since parking is at a premium on campus, I guess it is to be expected. Bottom line is you are paying for location/convenience.

As expected; a little difficult to find.
We were a late check-in, which was not a problem. The staff was very friendly. We did have a little trouble finding it--it's located directly behind the Georgetown Univ. Hospital--as the signage on the campus is poor. The rooms were very clean and modern.

The house keeping staff was not very careful in re filling the supplies of complimentary items in the room such as shampoo, soap, paper tea cups etc.

the faculty club of the hotel serves convenient food for the traveller but no dinner for the period I visited.

the waterfront has several restaurants and you can take a water taxi to Old Town Alexardria in VA that has great restaurants and shops. Try the Warehouse on King.
