Early December visit

The hotel was beautiful, decked out for the holidays. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious except for the closest. there was not enough room to hang clothes for two for a three day stay. The safe takes up most of the space where clothes would hang. The doors don't open all the way so getting things in and out of the small closet was difficult. Room service dishes were left out in the hall from another room for most of the day.

The Willard Rocks!

Was in town to catch a show at the Warner, 2 blocks away. The staff was friendly and attentive, from valet, to check in, to bar staff. Lot's to do in the surrounding neighborhood. Not my first stay, definitely not my last. Also, this was my first (and very positive Orbitz experience).

Our Willard stay was perfection

Great location--we walked everywhere, even to dinner 3 nights at 3 different restaurants. The service is outstanding, the hotel is beautiful and our 2 queen room was very spacious. Information about all attractions is readily available through the concierge. We ate breakfast there the first morning and out the rest of the time. Easy walk to Corner Bakery and McDonald's. Many retail businesses within walking distance. Cabs plentiful and easy walk to Metro line. Would definately go back!

Fancy but Comfortable

The hotel location is great for seeing all the major sites. Short walk to the White House which was really great. The stay at the hotel was comfortable and they made sure you were happy throughout your trip.

Great location for a DC vacation!

Our family was very happy with our stay at the Willard. The room was very spacious and clean with soft, comfortable beds. The location was close to everything and you feel like you are right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of the mall and all of the monuments along it. There are many diverse restaurants in the immediate vicinity in all different price ranges and the metro was within a couple of blocks. The historic feel of the hotel fits right in with the buildings around it and the lobby is beautiful. You feel almost as if you can feel the ghosts of Lincoln and Grant sitting in the lobby and "holding court" - needless to say, we loved the hotel and will stay there again when we go to DC next time.
