Omni Shoreham Washington DC Family Trip
The hotel was spectacular. We were four women sharing one room and the set up could not have been more spacious. The room included a walk-in closet, dressing area, huge bedroom with two queen size beds and a balcony! The hotel staff was extremely accomodating. We hope to stay here again.

classy and elegant
stayed for 8 nights as visiting son at University in DC - hotel exceeded my expectations - excellent service - has been renovated very tastefully so hasn't lost its charm and elegance - great location for us as lovely walk through the park to Georgetown with its great shops & bars - remember to take your photo ID as some restaurants & bars there insist on it before serving alcohol - we are in our 50s & look it but were asked for ID at Uno`s- metro station close to hotel if you dont like walking & the Irish Bar cross the road serves great food & has a good atmosphere - open top bus tours stop across from Hotel and great value - not shopping around next time - going back here

great fun for the whole family
we love staying at the omni. the pool attracts a nice crowd of washingtonians as well as guests of the hotel. our granddaughter really enjoyed the baby pool as well as the big one. the staff was very friendly and responded to all of our requests. we would suggest this hotel to anyone.

great value
nice place, impressive lobby, great location, friendly staff. yes, the a/c unit is quite loud, but bearable. traveled with a child and were pleasantly surprised to receive a cookie and milk on the first night of arrival. stayed at the Irene weekend and felt really safe and comfortable there. the only weird thing is that we all were bitten by some insects 2 days in a row and not sure if it was in the hotel or elsewhere...

Enjoyable stay
Enjoyed our stay at the Omni Shoreham. It's an older hotel, but it is quite elegant. However, if you are looking for a place to stay with all the newest features, this may not be the place for you. The elevators are small and slow, wireless internet is inconsistent, and the bathrooms are small. On the positive side, the staff was wonderful, the grounds beautiful with flowers and it seems to be in a convenient location. The Zoo, shopping, restaurants and metro access were all close by. I enjoyed the food I had in the bar and at the restaurant in the hotel. I think it was probably the best I had in my stay in DC. I was NOT impressed with DC food!
