Residence Inn Washington, DC
I was traveling for a conference and was looking for an affordable and convenient hotel where I could crash after a long day, but also be able to get some work done. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my suite (yeah, a suite -- I was expecting a tiny room with a bed) was perfectly set to meet my needs. The immaculate room was homey, with an indecently comfortable couch and complimentary WiFi and wired internet access. The hotel staff was very accommodating, friendly, and polite. Each morning as I exited the elevator, the front desk greeted me with a smile and reminded me that breakfast was served to my left (how could I resist not grabbing a cup of coffee and a banana for the road?). What was left of the evenings were spent relaxing in the room while multi-tasking between the large, flat-screen TV and my laptop. The hotel was clean, quiet, and fantastically comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

While in the D.C. area, we visited nearby colleges / universties. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and also handed us free passes for the local transportation. An unexpected free hot breakfast was a great way to start our day. [...]

oversold after paying for guarantee
I arrived at the Marriott Residence Inn in DuPont Circle, Washington DC, at 1:30am to find that they had been oversold despite my paid guarantee through [...]. Really annoying to say the least. However, the front desk manager was very diligent in finding one of the few hotel rooms available in Washington that night and covered the cost of the first night. Started very badly but problem solved after the inconvenience.

Always look for the most crowded restaurants, if you want good food and a great atmosphere. Try Pizzeria Paradiso.

Great Spot Great Price
Came to celebrate a frends birthday. Great location for where events where being held. Nice options for food within walking distance. The stay couldn't have been more pleasant.
