I got a great rate and the hotel was perfect -- comfortable bed; close to anything you want to do; great service; friendly staff. My only complaint is that they don't just throw in wireless access, like some of the other hotels I use in DC. In today's wired world, that's as important as having a gym.

DC Westin
Really pleasant to stay here. Two little improvements - would be nice to be able to open the windows, even if it's just a few inches; it would be really easy to make that change, and would help keep the air fresh. Cream for the coffee would also be nice.

Convenient location for Metro users
Hotel is close to Metro station "Foggy bottom". It is very convenient to go to attractive areas such as Capitol, Sumisonian museums and so on.

Great hotel for DC Marathon
This hotel is a great value in a great location for the DC-area runs. It is only a 5-7min walk from the "Foggy Bottoms" subway stop which will get you to numbers pick up and the start of the race. They do have a small fitness room with foam rollers for your post run stretching. Next time I'm here hopefully it will be during pool season.

There is a Whole Foods across the street from the Foggy Bottom subway stop. Perfect place for pre-race carbo-loading.

DC great time
We love the location,an easy walk to the Foggy Bottom metro station and Georgetown. Our room was spotless, and quiet. Great in room coffee, and since I am concerned about the enviroment, the "green" features were outstanding. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
