This quaint, budget-friendly, bed-and-breakfast style hotel was built in 1926 and has been restored over the years. It's located between Dupont Circle and Woodley Park, near Adams Morgan. The hotel is perfect for travelers who want to be in the midst of the D.C. going out scene, with restaurants, shopping, and nightlife nearby. Wandering Anthropologist
Simple but effective
I was in the area for a conference and just needed a place to sleep. The room was cute and served the purpose, and the price and location could not be beat for what I needed. It is definitely not an all inclusive hotel, but if all you need is a nice, safe place to spend your nights while in the city, you could do far worse.

Could have overlooked the rest if...
At any hotel, motel or inn there are always two things you can count on, a warm bed and a hot shower. Apparently 4 am is too early to have boilers running because the shower was cold. The staff apologized and sent someone to check on it but mentioned there's not much they can do about it after we expressed our urgency of making our flight and need to leaving speedily. We only stayed at this hotel again because we didn't want to move our luggage the day before, now I wish we had gone to a hotel closer to the airport. The price was not worth the lack of basic hotel promise. I would recommend that if this is something typical, the hotel should notify its guest that a hot shower will not be available between specific times. If it is not typical, then they need to make their guests feel like it is not when it happens and a simply, "i'm sorry" just doesn't cut it.

Nice, cosy and cheap..
Windsor Park was a cute hotel with most of what i wanted. Best of all it was close to the downtown area. Definitely value for money..

Location
Located between 2 Metro stations (about a half mile to each) and in a beautiful neighborhood. Comuter bus stop within a block. Embassies within walking distance. What's not to like about the location?

Walk down to the Dupont Metro going sightseeing and try Murpy's of DC, an Irish cafe and pub around the corner form the Woodley Park Metro on your way back to the hotel!

great location, great parking, great price
My husband and I have stayed there several times. It is within walking distance to our son's apartment and easy to find parking. The room is minimalist but clean and for our purposes perfectly adequate. It would be nice if their complimentary breakfast had a little more selection but other than that it's great for us.

Worst Hotel Ever
I seen bed bugs and I had to change my room because there was a mice, also the breakfast was not good. This is most definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Decent but fairly out of the way
It's a nice hotel and we had no problems but I've stayed in equally nice places for a lower price, perhaps that's just Washington prices. No complaints though
