The hotel was dirty, beds were clean, continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. We walked to Dunkin Donuts.

Got a room here due 2 hurricane Irene. I was very concerned due to a couple of bad reviews and pictures. Was very pleasently suprised. Bed was comforatable, room was clean. The only issue I had was that there were not enough towels and washcloths in the room. Although, not everyone reserving a room has twins!

Any Port in a storm
LAKESIDE INN is really Super 8 NOT GREAT
Called also as Lakeside Inn and Suites was infact a SUPER 8 ! The Building is Old. The windows and ceiling leaked along exterior wall , dripping into the air conditioner. Phones do not work. The continental breakfast and dining hall is nice .

Not the correct Name for this hotel
This hotel was extremely nice for the price. The name is not correct and I had a hard time finding the place. Lakeside Inn and Suites is not the correct name and you should see that it is changed to the Super 8. I only found this place because of the street number 348 Dupont HWY. Close to Route 8 in Dover. No pool at the hotel.

Most restaurants are right across the street. Also it is close to shopping....Macys, Walmart, Sams, etc.

College Trip
Great stay for the price!
Do not have any negative comments for this stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I requested extra towels for the family and they were sent right away. The continental breakfast was great. We will stay here again when we come to visit my son.

DE Casino Traveler
Super 8 Dover DE
The pictures of the rooms provided on the website are very deceptive. The entire hotel is undergoing renovation and even the aesthetic upgrades aren't satisfactory. For travelers going to Dover Downs Casino, beware of this hotel.
