Inn at Wilmington

We were here for a family reunion in PA. The proximity was great for the location of the venue. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The service and next morning breakfast was very adequate.

we had a great stay at the Inn at Wilmington. Very accommodating. We had come down for the breakfast one morning and was a few minutes late and realised they were closing up. However the waiter manning the breakfast area left the breakfast area open a few more minutes for us to grab some breakfast entrees before closing up for good. He was also very friendly while we were eating. The beds were great- best sleep I've had in a hotel. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

I stayed at the Inn at Wilmington for a short business trip in DE. Arrived late at the hotel and the evening staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully kept, and the rooms are very large and comfortable, with a homey feeling about them. The only thing I'd say I didn't like too much was 1- that the elevator may take too long to arrive, and 2- the blinders don't close all the way so if you're into really dark nights, I'm sorry. Other than that, an overall great experience. The hotel is about 7 minutes away from downtown Wilmington, and it's very close to various shopping areas and restaurants.

I came to attend a conference at the nearby Winterthur Museum and selected the hotel for its proximity to Winterthur and the convenience of meals in my room (there is both a microwave and small refrigerator) so that I could keep up with my day job at night. The pleasure of clean room, internet access, comfortable bed, groceries in room were diminished by the lack of service at the front desk. At check-in, the clerk could not find my reservation and kept trying to make it my problem, i.e., despite my early check-in and printed confirmation, he would not give me the room type I asked for at the confirmed price and initially told me he would have to bill my credit card and then have me sort out the billing with [...]. The third night I was there, I could not get the front desk to place a wake-up for slightly more than 10 minutes. When you are tired and cannot figure out the alarm clock (that has no directions for operation), that delay is exasperating.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Free continental breakfast really made the stay a good value. We will return when in the area again!

Hotel was clean and in good condition. I stayed for 2 days while there for an interview. A variety of restaurants are located across the street, which was very convenient.

Clean, newer business level hotel. Room well stocked with microwave, fridge, coffee maker. Breakfast is better than most.
