Hampton Inn Miami-Coconut Grove/Coral Gables

The room was clean and comfortable. A wide selection in the breakfast buffet.

Rooms acceptable in cleanliness and comfort. Dining options good and close. Free parking and complimentary breakfast is pretty good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was constantly coming down with questions and requests and the staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable.

My brother's family came down to Florida to attend a conference at Key Biscayne. We couldn't afford to stay on the key, so we decided to stay at the Hampton Inn, coconut grove. We had a better experience than my brother who stayed at the Ritz-Carlton. 1. Parking. Parking is free at the Hampton Inn, and it is also gated for that extra peace of mind. 2. Value, We saved hundreds of dollars in lodging alone. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel was recently remodled and the bathroom is nicer than what we have at home. 3. Food. The complimentary breakfasts were HUGE and varied each day. Omelets, sausage, potatoes one morning, eggs and sausage breakfast the next morning. The freshly made waffles, a standard Hampton Inn staple, tasted terrific. Terrific assorment of juice, fruit, cereal, and coffee. We had free breakfasts and ate enough to cover our lunch. 4. Location. Close to everything: Coconut grove shopping and bars, close to Key Biscayne, close to south beach. We'll definately stay here as a first choice again the future.

The hotel was excellent in terms of location. The variety and availability of breakfast items made it very convenient to eat leisurely before leaving for my business appointments. The only problem was that I could not get a receipt as I was told it would come via [...]--makes it most inconvenient to expense my trip as I do not have it as yet. thank you.

our trip included several hotel stays, and this location was the worst!!! The room was average, but the reception desk personnel were sub-standard. The service was forced, and they made no effort to be accommodating in the least. Definitely will not be staying there again.

We were a couple traveling primarily for work but wanted to squeeze in some fun stuff too! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in assisting us with questions, directions, dining suggestions. Continential breakfast included in hotel price was very good! Food was fresh with plenty of choices. Breakfast "on the go", packed in brown paper bag was very helpful day we departed as our flight was super early. We grabbed coffee and could enjoy our breakfast during the 20 min cab ride to the airport.

Very cramped, hotel staff, not the most helpful or pleasant, particularly for the price.

Very friendly staff; when arrived had odor in our room and they moved us to new room right away; great location for visiting University of Miami and the Rosenstiel School.
