Days Inn Daytona Oceanfront

The location on the beach was excellent. The hotel itself was average. It's old and looks it. There were cracks in the plaster (nothing huge, just what you would normal find in an older building), holes in the blanket, worn carpeting, etc. So don't go expecting it to look nice. However, it was clean, the beds were comfortable enough, everything worked (except wi-fi), and it was good deal.

The staff was top notch. We got there early, and was invited to play in the pool or the beach till our room was ready. We got the room we asked for. And the view was breath taking.

This is just a solid hotel with basic but clean and sufficient facilities. The location is outstanding. It's right on the beach. It's pretty far south of actual "Daytona Beach" which was fine with me, because it was more relaxed than the hectic and crowded atmosphere of beaches closer to Daytona proper. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I hope to visit Daytona Beach again someday and I would definitely stay here again. One tip though: "Ocean view" means it's on the north side of the building, and you do have an ocean view (and you have an equally good view of the road) if you're on the 4th floor or higher. I wish I'd requested "ocean front", which would have been directly opposite the beach with a full view of the ocean (and zero view of the road). It was fine though; I slept with my deck door open and fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing. Pretty great!

Our room was not ready when we arrived but they took our cell number and called us when it had been cleaned. We had arrived before check in time.The Staff was so friendly. The room was one of the cleanest rooms I have seen in a long time.Sitting out at night listening to the waves was so nice and relaxing. Great location, right on the beach , wow , looking at the beautiful sun rise every morning made you get out of bed early.

Great Hotel. Perfect location in South Daytona. Walking distance to many good seafood restaurants. Pool and beach were great. Jacuzzi jets weren't working, but water was great nice and hot at night with the cool seabreeze air. Mattresses were uncomfortable. That's the only bad thing I have to say about this hotel. Would definately recommend!

The staff at front desk was fantastic my recervation was for 3pm, I get there around 2 the room asign to me was not ready and they give me another room, beatiful view to the beach, rooms very clean, staff very nice.

This hotel was clean which is very important to me! The beds were hard which was a downfall. The view was nice and the hotel Is in a quieter area of Daytona so the beach is a little less hectic here. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the stay. Worth the price for the location and amenities!

Older hotel with a great location. Reasonably clean and taken care of. Very nice staff. Good value.

showed up at 12:30 and checkin wasn't till 3. They tagged me with an upgrade, but I was in an ocean front room by 12:45. The desk staff was helpfull in local recommendations, and the housekeeping did a nice job on the room. The room was nice and roomy with a kitchenette. The only gig I can give is all the munchies were a elevator ride to the 1st floor and could have used a bar. nothing real special but it was worth the price.
