Beautiful Hotel, Right on the water
Perfect to take the water taxi, look at all the beautiful yachts! Galleria mall is within walking distance, Blue Martini's, PF Changs, lots of good eats, great shopping! I will stay here again! We had the two bedroom suite and it was beautiful!

Perfect visit
Good location, friendly staff, well equipped clean room.....everything perfect, but the compulsory valet parking became expensive when staying more than a week.

Young urban professional on vacation
Nice...but could be better
The suite is very comfortable and nicely renovated. My complaints are regarding parking ($25 per day) and internaet ($9.95 per day). I was underwhelmed by the hospitality of the front desk staff, but found the valet team to be courteous and friendly. I do not think I will stay there again, but it was an average experience.

Gallery One Hotel Stay Memorial Day 2011
This hotel is very nice and clean. On arrival we upgraded to a King Suite water view! It was well worth it! We had coffee in the morning overlooking both the intercoastal and the ocean in the distance. We cooked our own breakfast with utensils already in the room and and had wine in the evenings using the provided wine glasses. The bathroom was spacious with marble floors and rain shower. The plasma TV had a great picture and the couch was comfy. The hotel was only 3 blocks from the beach and very convenient to other amenities, dining, bars etc. The only problem we had was the somewhat limited available of ice... only on the 4th floor and used by everyone. The restaurant however, gave us some when we needed it! I would def stay here again!

Nice Place But............
This is a well appointed, clean and comfortable all suites-hotel. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and the beds are quite comfortable This hotel has the disadvantage of being a fair distance from the beach areas, but water taxis are available on the property for a very reasonable price There is also a mall in walking distance with decent restaurants and trendy shops. My only complaint is that the air conditioning was not working during the 24 hrs that I stayed at this hotel . I had to call the staff to find out the status of the air conditioning. They were very apologetic and offered free wi-fi as compensation. I was only there for one night as a post-cruise stay, but I would like to believe the problem was fixed in a timely fashion. I have no idea, however.

This room was tired. This is the second time we've stayed at this property. Last fall, the room was cleaner and newer.

We spent 2 nights at the Doubletree,Ft. Lauderdale and would choose a different location next time. The rooms were clean and spacious, but the grounds were unimpressive and there was nothing within walking distance except a mall. There is a water taxi available for approx. 20.00 per person but they stop running at about 11:00 p.m.

Just Me
Perfect place to relax!
We stayed at this hotel for two nights following a cruise. The staff was friendly and quick to accommodate all of our requests. The suite was clean and very well decorated. We paid for a balcony with a city view but ended up with city, intercoastal waterway, and ocean view! What a bonus. Next door to an upscale mall, a short walk to the beach and the Water Taxi at our backdoor. We could not have asked for anything more!

Be sure to take advantage of the Water Taxi. It stops right at the hotel. The price is for an entire day and you can get off and on as many times as you like. It takes you to multiple stops with various interests and includes narration of the mansions and yachts along the way.
