I recommend it, will stay here again
Free Parking, Free WIFI and Free Breakfast... a plus in my book. We stayed for a weekend, clean rooms, no complaints at all. We are staying here next time we visit Ft Lauderdale.

Long walk from hotel
If you like to walk, it is about 5 or 6 blks. to the river walk which is very nice and interesting. You can look at all the yachts in the river and drool! Free tram outside hotel to go in and around town.

The Greatest
I loved the hotel. The rooms were beautiful My grandson's loved the pool and everything was within walking distance. We went on a cruise and we stayed there the day before and the day after. If I am in the Florida area again I would stay no where else. I give it a 100.

Cruise Traveler
Great place to stay
Excellent front desk employees...they gave us suggestions and directions to nearby restaurants. Front desk even called up to room and asked if room was acceptable. Room was clean and spacious. A/C worked well. Security for parking, entrances, and elevator was an added plus to this hotel stay. Great hotel to stay and would recommend to all.

Alot of bar/restaurants/nightclubs near hotel mostly on Las Olas(driving distance from hotel). But if you plan to go to beach area restaurants (like Bubba Gumps) go early and hopefully you will find a parking space nearby. We couldn't find a parking spot at 5ish without a long walk and ended up else where. ALSO if you are cruising and you rent from BUDGET that is located on SE 17st Causeway (A1A Hwy)it is a little hard to find. Just look for Quay Center plaza and it is in the little shopping stip (on the north side of SE 17st Causeway/A1A). Only sign for it will be above the door. One of the entrances to the Quay Center (there are two)is on the north side of SE 17th (A1A) at Eisenhower Blvd and the road on the south side of A1A is Eisenhower Blvd that leads to the cruise ship terminals. The other entrance to the Quay Center is to the west of that intersection. (Our rental car experience is another story)

Ft.Lauderdale's cruise
We stayed at this hotel before our cruise and had a good time. Its a short walk to nice restaurants and bars. Just be sure to don't go out alone at night since there are a lot of homeless people hang around the near parking lots!

Good service and nice and clean, but amenities seem to be slowly eroding over the years (this is the third year we've stayed there over Christmas break).
