Travelodge Fort Lauderdale

It was probably the worst motel I have stayed in. I was there on business and had prepaid. If i hadn't prepaid I would have never have stayed there. The only good things that i can say are that they have free wfi and it works and that the shower was worked well.

Had a good stay. the room smelled a little funny but it was a smoking room. the room had a safe which i liked even though the area was very nice. there is a classic car shop right beside the motel which was a big plus for me. over all i was very happy with my stay there. nothing special nothing bad

There is a pool in the hotel & that 's great when it's hot. The staff is friendly..Lots of fast food places very close by..Burger King, Arby's...only thing I din't like was that there is no microwave in the room..

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel that has a hot shower and air conditioning and a clean bed. I got what I paid for. The hotel wasn't much to look at. It was cheap not glamorous. The other guests at the hotel were tight wades like me; some looked a little ganster-ish. The desk staff is all oriental. My room was cleaned everyday and I got fresh towels. Breakfast (cheap bagels, OJ, coffee, cereal, and milk) was provided in the main lobby. None of my possessions were stolen. The room had good locks and a safe in the room. There was a refrigerator. It had WiFi. The TV had HBO but the batteries on the remote control must have been weak or something because it didn't work very well on changing channels or volume. In the neighborhood there was a market across the street to buy food and several places to eat at in the area. There is a rental car place (Enterprise?) a block away as well. Two miles from the beach. About a $20 taxi ride from the airport. Compared with the cost of the other hotels in the area I feel the dollar per day ratio was great. If you are about saving money were you can and not looking like your rich or impressive I would say it's the place to stay.

We stayed here for one night before our cruise and it was just awful! The rooms were dirty, things were broken and missing (half the rooms were missing the microwaves and hairdryers, lampshades), and we did not feel safe! The location wasn't a very safe area. We took a walk down the street at night to get food, and were told by the lady at the drugstore to be careful around here at night. The daytime manager who was there was a very nice woman, but the man who was at the front desk at night was not very friendly! The continental breakfast was extremely minimal and not that great, (small bagels, some cereal, danishes that were partially frozen, coffee, and juice). When we got to our room the window to the bathroom was wide open and did not have a screen and looked out to the back alley. I would not stay here if I were you! We wont be again!

Front desk people, didn't give us any information for our room or anything around us, when there wasn't a parking spot for our car we parked in the next best area with a note and they called our room at 5am to move the car when there was still no open spots. 3 outlets 2 worked No hair dryer, No trash can in the bathroom, no screen in bathroom window, out of 2 door locks, one was half missing. Great HBO good pool if it was heated.....since it's in the shade Only 1 room key for 2 guests Lamps with no lamp shades Friendly house keeper Hotel had their own police officer as a security guard with a bullet proof vest. for 62$ it was expected that it wasen't going to be an AMAZING hotel but somethings were funny they were so crazy and unexpected for a hotel. For being in our early 20s during spring break it was good.

i didnt even get to arrive at the hotel. my flight was delayed so i arrived in ft lauderdale at 4am i had a surgery scheduled for 8am so since i would lose an hour of sleep traveling back and forth from the hotel i deciding to spend the night at a friends house. the next morning after the surgery i called the hotel but they had already cancelled my reservation without a call! i explained to them what happened and i asked why didnt they call me before they took it upon themselves to cancel and the receptionist rudely responded "no we dont do that. you are supposed to call us". i wouldnt make another reservation there just for the poor customr service.
