Trendy Venue, Great Value
Aloft Jacksonville was beautifully designed, contemporary but comfortable, and a great value. With flat screen tv's and comfy beds in the rooms, many restaurants nearby, and a lounge with a pool table right in the hotel, who needs to wander around looking for something to do?

great couples trip
The hotel was very modern and in a great location. My only complaints were the weird smell of the water in the bathroom sink and that there is no microwave in the room or ice machine on any of the floors.

Interesting place, good for singles and young couples
Aloft is interesting, it was decent value for what you got. The bar/lobby is a nice place to hang out, vs a typical lobby. The rooms are very small and there's no real place to sit. If you just need a room to sleep in and don't plan on hanging out at all, this works well. If you have to stay in the room for an extended period it's cramped. Given the low price range, expect some noise because there are likely to be young singles. It's sort of a W on the cheap, but that's what you are paying for.

Tilted Kilt has great beer specials and good grilled wings. Don't miss Fish Tacos at Seven Bridges (the IPA is good as well).

Trendy bargain
This is a trendy, modern hotel with affordable rates in a great location that allows pets -- just what I was looking for. The room was comfortable, although hallway noise can be heard through the door, and the heat would unexpectedly turn on by itself in the middle of the night. I would recommend this hotel for younger singles or couples. Without a lounge area, I would say the room would be a bit cramped for more than two adults.

Nice weekend get-away
Great location, modern and clean. It was nice and inexpensive for a weekend get-away. We enjoyed pool table in lobby and the fitness room had great equipment with all the water and towels you needed. We've never stayed in a room quite like that and although the bedroom area was great, the bathroom area fell alittle short. Sliding door didn't give enough privacy; shower felt cold; poor lighting.

Business hotel that wishes they were a club
Ambient lighting and club beats asides, this place is a clean hotel & good value. Bartender thinks she's at coyote ugly or another trendy spot...get over yourselves, you're waiting bar at the Aloft Hotel. Also, there is some sort of plumbing issue that causes sinks on the lower floor to stink of sewage / sulfur.
