Nigh Of HorrOr!

The hotel was a hot mess, the lobby bay windows shocased a tv aircondditioner grave yard. It smelled like mildew and mold. The room was molded and had mildow smell the linen was stained and nasty. We had to purchase linen,I will never stay there or advise anyone to reserve. Had a time trying to get relocated told unable to do so had to cancell business trip after first day. Horrible Service.

Very old and shabby looking

It was very old and shabby looking, though the room seemed pretty clean. The neighborhood wasn't the best, and there were people outside screaming and fighting in the night, which scared our daughter half to death.

Do NOT stay here. EVER!

I travel a lot. I'm in late, I crash; I'm up; I'm out. I don't need much, so I'm used to low end places, and I've seen lots of them. NOTHING I've ever seen was this bad. It gives dumps a bad name. Some specifics: Okay, neighborhood's dicey, but I'm used to that. Drove to my room--two tattered drunks were sprawled 30 feet from my door across the parking lot. They were too tanked to answer a tentative greeting, so I didn't feel threatened, but I emptied the car. Inside things got worse. The room was musty. The inch long burn on the bathroom vanity explained the odor of stale smoke--signs of prohibition notwithstanding. There are motorcycles quieter than the air conditioner, but since it didn't put out cold air anyway, I turned it off. The trim was falling off the wall, the paper peeling. The ceiling was a mosaic of water stains and drywall cracks. I was afraid to set my carry-on on the stained carpet--who knew what was going to crawl into it? When I tried to find an outlet to charge my cell phone I discovered a power strip under the desk with so many plugs in it that the weight had pulled the wall-mounted conduit from it's anchors. I figured one more plug might blow the power grid in the whole Southeast US and I didn't want to see 60 million people deprived of their microwaves, so the phone went uncharged Outside the sliding door to the back was a rat trap--#15 painted on it--so you've got to figure it was one of many. Of course I knew, just knew, the tub wasn't going to drain when I took my shower--but at least the water was hot...it's creepy, though, standing in it ankle deep when you were hoping to come out clean. If it hadn't been well after midnight I'm outta there, and truly, I was tempted to sleep in the car. The breakfast was actually good--although I wonder I dared try it, but the lobby looked above average when I'd registered. The staff was pleasant, but they just don't get it: Florida can be bad, but it's not the 3rd world yet. I implored Orbitz to de-list this place; they owe their clients better. If you're reading this they didn't listen, so I hope you do. DO NOT STAY HERE. The homeless would rather sleep outside in the parking lot. In fact, they do.

Excellent price for location

We were in town for a reunion. The staff was very helpfull with directions, the room was clean and had a small fridge, microwave, coffee and coffee pot, and an iron & ironing board. The poolwas small but nice. We had a very restfull 2 nights very quiet and relaxing. Nothing extravigant but very affordable. We would reccommend this place to any travler in this area.
