The staff were very friendly and helpful. The public areas on our floor could stand more attention to detail when cleaning & vacuuming the area.

Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Jacksonville
This was my first time to Jacksonville. The Hotel was in a great location and close to all that we needed. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. From the person that checked us in to the person that got us towels by the pool. The cookies were a great touch. I will stay here when in Jacksonville.

Not Too Shabby!
On this trip, I stayed both at the Country Inn and the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota. I have to tell you that if I had been blindfolded, I could not tell you any difference between the two (except cost). Yes, the Country Inn doesn't have the same eye-candy surroundings, but as far as cleanliness (paramount to my needs) and comfort are concerned, it was the hands-down winner on this trip. Unfortunately, the downside is precisely that - the less-than-stellar eye-candy area and location (close to noisy highway, but it wasn't that bad, really). However, as a place to lodge, it met my needs more than adequately. By the way, despite it's price, the Ritz had the audacity to nickel-and-dime you by, for example, charging a $14.95/day WiFi access! Really?!

Great Hotel!
I stayed here for three nights while I was in Jacksonville on business and couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The suite was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the cookies at the front desk were such a nice treat!
