The Holiday Inn Jacksonville S. 9A & Baymeadows is located in the Deerwood business district off Gate and Southside Boulevards. We are convenient to shops and eateries at the St. Johns Town Center and The Avenues shopping mall. In addition the, University of North Florida, Mayo Clinic and Florida Community College South Campus are all nearby. The hotel is only 14 miles from Jacksonville's number one tourist destination Timucaun Ecological and Historical Preserve offering hiking, biking, kayaking and so much more. The hotel is located off State Road 9A, and this makes it convenient for the business traveler to get anywhere in the city quickly and easily. The Deerwood and Baymeadows area is Jacksonville's newest and fastest growing part of the city. We serve breakfast and dinner in our on-site "Kem's Restaurant" or you can enjoy room service from the comfort of your room. There are more than 15 great restaurants such as Outback Steakhouse, Sticky Fingers and Carrabba's; they are within a one mile drive from the hotel. All our rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. We off free wired and wireless Internet access. Our conference and banquet space for meetings and social functions is the largest in our area. The 4,000 sq. ft. meeting facility is located on the ground floor and can serve from 25 to 300 banquet style or up to 400 theatre style. Very close to the town center and about a 10 min drive to the beaches!

Great price for the location

The hotel is really nice for the money, and the location is great. They do not have a continental breakfast,but do have a nice hot breakfast for the money.

Very clean place to stay.

Very clean rooms, great to have restaurant on site, did not have to go out for breakfast.

Nice Hotel

This was an excellent hotel. I would stay here again. I enjoyed the drinks and just spending time with my significant other. We went to a comedy show while there and went to the beach on the Navy base. This was more of a relaxing getaway since he is deploying in July.

Our opinion

The hotel was easy to find. Our room was very nicely decorated. Unfortunately, there was some controlled hay burning nearby, which made the hotel smell of smoke. It disappeared by morning. The staff was friendly and efficient.
