Motel 6 Jacksonville Orange Park

If I could rate this motel a "0" I would. Drugs sold outside the door, which was hard to open. Cigarette burns in the blanket, bugs climbing on the wall. Room smelled of smoke and mold. I was scared to take off my socks because the nasty carpet looked like it was rolling in germs. Will never do again.

Nice staff, convenient location! Only thing that would have made it better was if it had a mini-fridge or an ice bucket...but there was none and Water temperature took a good 8-10 minutes to warm up in the shower...

Hotel had a very strong Mold odor. Tenants up stairs were extremely noisey most of the night. Drug deal going down in the parking lot when I left this morning

more supplies, it was hard to get towels, sheets, very noisy,bed was hard. they didnt have a blowdryer in the room, no coffee pot.

This hotel was like many of the motels around here, decent room with the basics. They had very friendly staff, but the one thing that bothered me was the noisy neighbors.

the room was clean and larger than i expected. however i got the room right next to the room for the cleanup crew so there was alot of noise(talking, carts rolling) and traffic(crew trucks, walking). but that could also be due to the fact that i was on the first floor right infront of the parking lot. the towels were clean but some smelled of bleach. the interent data port was a hassle to connect and never got connected. the vending machines were out of order but that seemed to be common in the other nearby hotels also. other than that the it was a great stay. the staff were very kind and friendly. the cleanup crew gave me extra towels. there is a strip mall right across the road and several restaurants(panera, olive garden, local bar) near by and even a chuckecheese for the kids. the orange park mall is just down the road and the highway is right near so getting around is easy.

I do alot of travel both for business and pleasure. This hotel was one of the worst. It had unprofessional employees, attracted a bad element in terms of the caliber of guests. It was a dirty room, killed a black and grey spider in the bathroom that could of been someones pet that got away. All that said, they do provide a security guard (hope they pay this guy more than $9/hr) which is well needed and you are not allowed to be on the balcony past 11pm. You don't have to question the reason for this. Don't bring your family here.
