WORST HOTEL EVER! DONT STAY HERE!
I have stayed at this hotel twice now and once at the Omni in Austin Texas. All experiences have been the worst hotel stays ever. The front desk staff, specifically "Brandon", was extremely rude to me and had a horrible attitude. They wouldnt let me check into my room until my business partner arrived because the room was in his name, even though I had the confirmation number and the credit card used to book the room! They made me wait over 3 hours in the lobby! I would have left and gotten another hotel had it not been for the other hotels in the area being completely booked and being here for a seminar.The room rate for what you get in a room is also overpriced. I have stayed at better Comfort Inns in my life. The marble floors in the lobby do not make up for the rude staff you will encounter. I have never been treated so rudely by a hotel staff member in my life, and I will never stay at an OMNI Hotel ever! Stay here at your own risk!

Great Jax hotel downtown
The location on the river was great and it was close to the Florida Theater where we were going. The staff were very helpful and the room was great! Nice big flat screen tv. The hotel didn't feel too big, which we really liked. Nice bar downstairs. Close to the Jax Landing where we ate dinner.

...and this Omni is right across the street. The food was good. They had pretheater set menu that got us to our seats in good time. Didn't have time for any of the amenities; spa, fitness center, pool. It was just what I was hoping for.

FL/GA game weekend
Very comfortable and quiet considering the usual insanity that prevails the weekend of this game. The staff was helpful in finding us a quiet room. But man....the rate gouging at downtown hotels is bordering on insane.

love the view and the pool!
it is nice to be in a business district but feel so secluded at the pool. if you are seeing a concert at times union it couldnt be more convienient! i love this hotel.

Jacksonville Saturday Night
Beautiful downtown hotel near happening Jacksonville Landing with restaurants, shopping, and music. Sleepy during the day, Jacksonville comes alive at night.

The only thing I did not enjoy was the fact you had to pay to park. The hotel would not validate you ticket. They made it seem like having a car was something rare!? 12.00 to self park and 18 for valet. OUCH

Omni Jacksonville
Staff members were outstanding. Arranged for dinner at Chart House and paid for our dessert there. Hotel rooms are a bit tired, but all in all, a good experience.
