Quality Inn Airport

We got there to check in, the room was moldy and dirty, no microwave or refrigerator, the floors were wet from the humidity, The rooms are small, the remotes don't work on the tv's. They don't make your beds or clean you room. I found items from previous guests beside the beds, which tells me they don't acume. take flip flops to wear in the room at all times.

Needed an inexpensive place to stay in order to take a very early morning flight from JAX. Very convenient with shuttle to airport 24/7

The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was not as offered in other motels. Only thing available was store brand danish pastries and coffee. No cerial or fruit or any other foods were offered for breakfast. Not very appealing

So this hotel is definitely cheap so you get what you paid for. The room was spacious but smelled a little bit. The bare essentials were in the room. The lobby was being renovated and was very nice. The patrons next door were quite noisy. Our room was in the back of the hotel and the area did not feel safe and so my boyfriend and I parked our cars in the front of the building which was a long walk from our room. All in all, if you do not scare easily and like cheap hotels to just crash in then this hotel serves it's purpose.

Remodeling was in progress, and badly needed in some areas. The air conditioner woke us up all night until I took the front off of it!

The location was very near the airport, which was very important because we had an early flight in the morning. We were very worn out and fell asleep early. I worked for several hours on my computer and the work space was useful and convenient. I was able to work without disturbing my sleeping son.

People were living there full-time with groceries in the windows. Someone was selling or maybe stealing furniture out of a U_Haul truck. We were placed in the back of the property and had to walk unescorted to our rooms. There was a large rowdy crowd, smoking and drinking that did not stop. I kept expecting for the police to arrive. My daughter's room was filthy and was wide open when she arrived. It was disgusting. Had we arrived before 11pm, I would not have stayed there.

Positive: At the Rodeway Inn Jacksonville FL, I experienced a nice motel with a larger than average room and lovely service. My spouse and I slept well and had plenty of hot water for our showers. We were offered free parking for a week in front of the hotel, if we decided to catch the van to the pier for our cruise! Negative: The room smelled bad and the desk clerk told us that we could not change to another room. We left our door open for a few hours and the smell dissipated.
